Great phone for the money. I have been using it for 2 years and no major issues. It is becoming a bit old and may need to change, but overall is great.

Amazing phone. Served me well for 3 years but now that the updates have stopped it has started randomly turning off and doing old-phone-stuff... Might have to switch soon.

Worst customer service in india.
Authorised service centres don't know to find root cause of the issue.
For new mobiles they say fluid issue hence not covered in warranty
For mobiles out of warranty ( after 1 YEAR) , they tell its a mother board issue and need to replace mother board

Best phone ever i ever owned , its been like 3 years since using it , 2019 and still found Front camera is much better than Samsung s9 and one plus 6T , which are todays flagship phones , this phone is so good that i don't wanna switch to another phone, but well, played Xiomi , you gave update just to make the drainage of the battery , gonna switch to one plus 7 soon , i wish Xiomi has released Mi 9 in India.

anonymous, 06 Feb 2019hows the battery life & is it worth getting in 2019?I hardly get 4 hours of screen time. The battery drainage is very fast after miui 10 update. And also miui 10.2.2.0 was the last update for this beauty. Feeling sad for this. All things working good accept the battery performance.

anonymous, 06 Feb 2019hows the battery life & is it worth getting in 2019?I am using Mi5 for a very long time now (> 2 years), dropped it many times, very durable, but only cracked a little at sides but working fine as well. If battery life is your priority, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this phone to you. 3000 is too small to even stay for more than 1 day. If you are using mobile data out there, it is going to drain even more faster. However, the chipset is Snapdragon 820 (high end) with good graphics card. This phone is suitable for above average gaming. This phone is very cheap now considering the day since this phone is announced. You should update your budget for better phone like Mi8. Bigger battery with better camera plus chipset with full screen. I hope this review helps you. Good luck!
