Xiaomi is reliable. I have never seen any major problem with its products. They remain low profile and deliver.
One+ is good too.good at performance. But it creates unnecessary hype and deliberate unavailability of its products. Plus it is owned by same parent company as OPPO.
Heating ( it's more of warming) is something I have observed are due to following reasons:- turbo charging and using the handset same time,heavy covers / shells over original body, using graphics intensive apps over extended periods. But above problems are less in a flagship grade device.
Battery usage depends on individuals. If a person uses 3g/4g continuously, it will surely drain the power quickly, even if it is 5000mAh battery.
I would personally prefer Xiaomi over One+.

The main issue is heating and cellular connectivity as I know Other specs I feel are more or lesa on par with the OP3 (save processor underclicked).
Or rather buy op3 paying extra bucks

It actually refers to 3g&4g capabilities of both the Sims of same handsets.it means both Sims have capabilities of 3g or 4g connectivity, with possibility of switching between either of Sims for the service / connectivity ( rather than dedicated single sim for 3g/4g)
It also clarifies that such 'simultaneously' as a misleading term.it refers Mi5 pro as one of the example.

I am curious to know from any user about Mi5 supporting 4g + 3g simultaneously...if you are a MI5 user...pls check and confirm.

And from the way you reply and comment, you seem to understand what you read. In specs sheet of this phone, it clearly mentions the 3g and 4g bands this handset supports.
Most members will agree now too.
Buddy I know it's an open forum and I have been honest enough to extend my apologies whenever I was wrong. But this time it's not my fault.

Mu query was based on some reviews where mi5 was told to be 4g + 3g capable.
Better you do some reading and stop being oversmart and pouring conclusions.
I hope otheer members will agree to my view point.

And 3g and 4g cannot work simultaneously.these are different bands. Either 3g will work or 4g will work.
Your demand for simultaneously working 3g+4g is unique in world. There is no such innovation in any phone, unless you yourself invent something like that.

I bought mi5 a month back but without any manhandling its backcover shattered n the whole phone got curved i mean how can this happen to a phone i m still in shock how it happened without any mishandling

I bought mi5 4months back and its lcd screen got damaged without any manhandling. How to trust this brand then? I went to customer care. They told me it would take 20-25 days without even checking for spare parts availibility. I shouted at them when they refused to provide any other phone for use in these days. How could a person manage to use his/her 2sim which are attached to the phone?? They are telling there is no policy as such. So why you people make such cheap handsets? After this arguement, the executive came and told me that parts were on the way and it would take 4hours. So why reception guys told me to wait for 20-25 days for repair? There is no cordination. They are there for only harassing the customers.

Look, this is a great phone, in the sense of its build but I have bought two of them, one for me and one for my father, but unfortunately both have experienced software issues. One kept restarting every so often and the other has completely stopped making calls.
