I have this phone for a year now. This is so far the best phone I had. A lot of my Friends are shocked when they see the quality of this phone's camera. I won't switch brands now. I stick with xiaomi. Planning on upgrading to MI8

still using it after 2 years, smooth multitasking,
IR blaster useful when youre at airport / restaurant (TV , AC, and stuff)
do bokeh photo at miui10, and 4k30fps, with a little knowledge you can get 1080p 60fps vid recording..
best price for value (1,5 to 2m IDR / 100$ - 135$ usd)

Best phone for price ever
Planning on upgrading to another phone but recently come miui10
Grateful when miui10 improves the phone in every aspect including the camera & interface experience
Battery still great, love it
Waiting for 1-2 years for pocophone or mi8 to reduce in price

DO NOT buy Xiaomi phones as I faced problems of motherboard only after 1and half year. when I visited Mi service center, they gave me estimate of rupees 5400 estimate. When I asked that why this problem occured so their reply was, Motherboard problem is common on redmi note 4. so i asked why xiaomi did not extend warrenty on motherboad for its users if you already found out that there is a problem on Motherboad for this model. to that query they did not have any reply. so now we dont know on which phones there is a problem of motherboard. specs will be good but what about the quality at longer duration? so better is to go for some other good brands.

Had Mi 5 for year and a half now, i spent like 300$ at my place where it costs even more and its still great. Can play 99% of games, is fast. I dropped it like 40 times on concrete and it didnt break anywhere, only scratches but its my fault again. Has headphone jack which i dont really use a lot nowadays but comes in handy when im on longer trip.

15 days ago my mi5 acting crazy. Random touch recognitio, gost touches here and there. It has no cause whatsoever. It didnt fall from hight or didn't soaked. I took it to service center they told me display should be replaced. I replaced it yesterday at the cost of 50$, now it is ok. Thought it might help other so i shared my story of mi5 here....

But its not as efficienct as most soc. For that price its good buy.
