I bought this Mi5 around 2 weeks ago & have been amazed by its performance. Cost US$385 for 3G 64GB version in Thailand. The battery life is incredible & can get almost 2 days with moderate to heavy use. For me the battery life is number 1 issue since I need at times to be out of the house (travelling very lite) from 6am - midnight. The mi5 easily does this for me. My only small criticism is the finger print sensor...I would rather it just be a touch sensor...rather than having to push it in....even though it's very responsive & accurate. I've also a Nexus 5X....it's had a lot of bad press....unfairly in my opinion? The only thing to let down the 5X is the battery life....it would get my through the day...just...with some nursing & I don't want to be looking at the battery level half way through the day

I better buy branded expensive but good. rather than buying a cell phone china cheap but full of bugs bugs and bug

I purchased the Mi5 around 10 days ago. its truly amazing, superb features, fast and the looks are out of this world. Battery does get a bit heated but not as prominent as some make it out to be. All is all for the price its a fantastic buy. And BTW I got the global version. I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful phone at a down to earth price to any phone aficionado. Cheers

Plus the battery life lasted a maximum of 6 hours in stand by, without any use. Also it got really heated qith normal use. I returned it inmediately.

I feel the battery backup of OP3 is horrible... 4 hrs SOT...
Mi 5 is better hopefully... Any users please share your experience on mi5 battery backup
Op3 6gb ram is a gimmick and it results in high battery consumption... nothing more...
Mi5 ergonomics and handling is cool

I've been using this mobile for 3 months....
Awesome Camera (Front cam is awesome than any other flagships... Rear Excellent colour production)
Battery(You can get 5hrs screen on time on using social media.. Browsing.. etc)
No heating issue(Gets heated only if u play heavy games... reached a max of 45*C)
So easy to handle as it is only 129 g
Fast fingerprint unlock( Sometimes it wont work due to software bug.. So u have to enter password to unlock it)
Brightest display (Its help u in sunlight)
And very low brightness (it helps u see in the dark) Thanks for that Xiaomi
And i accidently dropped my mobile in the steps from the first floor it went through all the steps and it went to the ground floor. I got a slight bend & a wear.. Everythings fine...
The stupid thing is Price & the charging adapter in India.. (with the price of 32GB in India u can buy a 64GB version in China)... And the charging adapter provided is quick charge 2.0 while mi5 supports QC3.0
So i suggest everyone.. Go for One plus 3
Its only need few bucks than mi5 to get OP3.
And it got high frequency 2.15GHz & higher storage 64GB. And got the same camera sensor IMX298
& a new optic Amoled Display.. And OP3 charges within 50-60 minutes.

hi in some user reviews in video recording ois don't work and cant decrease hand vibrate because there isn't digital stabilizer . is this true ? does this problem solved with updates? pls answer me . i want to buy this phone but image stabilization is important for me in video recording. pls help tnx

After using it for 2 months my phone screen just blackedout. Its still on but no screen display. I dont know why. Never drop it or anything. Screen just turn off and wont display anything.

I have bought xiaomi mi5 pro for around 3 weeks now. I must say, the OS run pretty fast. Battery run throughout the day, depend on the use. I could survive until the next day if I don't use it quite often. Gaming is pretty fine, it doesn't heat up easily. However, for some apps like, snapchat, instagram, path, and i think any other social media apps, phone starting to heat up quite fast. I could get 40 degree in just 10 minutes of running the social media apps. It happens as well when i use the camera for 10 minutes long. I did some reviews about this phone before buying it, i thought the heat wouldn't be any problem. But the heat is a serious problem.
Only two point above that concerns me most. The others are pretty impressive. I don't know if it's a hardware problem or software problem. Company should fix it.

i heard this phone may bend easily compared to others. Has anyone experienced that issue?
Please anyone let me know. Other than that, Its the best in the business!
