well.... i used it for like 2and a half months , it worked good the battery was fine, but it was very hot.

I live in China, where Xiaomi is manufactured. Here we are not as lucky as you are to have 4G everywhere, not even 3G everywhere. There are some rural areas where there is no connection at all. In such cases I do believe the FM receiver is the only way to get connected to the outside, because radio waves can reach much longer distances.

Bought @22999 on anniversary sale.
The phone is a beast. Superb rear and front camera. Very light weight with premium feel.no lags at all.
Best part is snapdragon 820 and fast charging

ssbatman21, 27 Jul 2016why did they use a narrower aperture on mi5 ....???? mi4 h... moreIf you need to take a portrait pic with a blurred background set the aperture to 1.8 and take, you will get good photos of the person and background will be blurred. If you need to take great scenery with like hills,whole garden etc try to take at high aperture like 5.6.... you will get great depth of field pictures. Remember light is important factor in all the above settings.

I think MI5 is the best phone that i ever notice,processor good,camera quality good(i.e.16 mp),battery life good,i like it n i plan 2 buy it soon my ordinary phone micromax canvas 7 is no more......

why did they use a narrower aperture on mi5 ....????
mi4 had f/1.8 which would hav been great with a 16 mp sensor....
my brother has mi5 and i compared it with galaxy note 4 (f/2.2) in low light and daylight as well....
daylight shots wer almost the same but in low light mi5 struggles alot to focus on anythng....
overall i found note 4 to hav a more reliable camera......
front cam is a different story altogether.....
mi5 wins front cam section without any efforts even though the resolution on both the devices is almost the same.
but i wish mi5 had autofocus in front cam.
