Mi5s is flagship offering of Xiaomi. They want to sell flagship devices and not FM tuner and universal remote control.

Xiaomi allows root and you dont void anything unless you unlock your bootloader. and dont root with king(o) root or things like that ... just go in permissions root acces and allow root :)
