I think the gorilla Glass is a company advertisement and not more! Used galaxy s6 about 1 year with screen protector . Take off the protector from screen and used 6 months without any protector . After while my screen is now full of scratches !!! So what is the gorilla glass 4 ? The best way you protect the screen is to used additional screen protector such az nillkin .

    Looks like what i would like, but not having gorilla glass screen worries. I dont want to have a full of scratches screen in a few months.
    Do you think it is a deal breaker? Is it so bad?

      S6 with better specs than Mi5s??? Are you sure xD? one have SD821 Kryo architecture and newest Sony Sensor IMX378 and other have old Arm Exynos with old features and poor battery endurance for QHD resolution its a big difference

        Samsung S7 is out for a year and it's a beast in terms of everything,and the price point isn't much far away in my country.
        Pretty much S6 costs the same as Mi 5s and has same specs but far away better performance.
        Xiaomi will provide you great experience for a year or so,with 0 android updates (only for their apps) but Samsung will do on all.Xiaomi will provide you with average camera quality,Samsung with amazing one.Xiaomi will be a cracker,but S6 will be a small brick.You are paying a lot for Samsung becoz it uses it own parts and produces everything,Xiaomi scraps up older parts from older Sony generations/other manufacturers.
        I do agree Xiaomi is a lot cheaper,it's mant for the chinese market where ppl don't have money but want great experience.But it can't be compared with a manufacturer that is almost beating up iPhone.
        Battery quality was always better on Xiaomi,even on it's cheaper models for 100$.Can't argue with that.Plus LCD screen's are more durable than AMOLED.
        Plus nobody is forcing you to buy the newest Note 7 or others for higher price.Wait a little and you can see Samsung flagships price drop.

        Think about it.PS Samsung Note 7 only explodes,S6,7 and MANY others not.

            This one is really a beast, perfect 👌 replacement for Note 7 with half the price. Anyway, I'm waiting for a Surface Phone, Windows 10 Mobile it's the best OS platform. Clear black display, carl-Zeiss lens camera, solid built.....

                This one and redmi pro have the same camera model.. Then why 5s plus has far better camera?....due to lens quality?

                  Why can,t compare Xiaomi with Samsung well first at all Xiaomi doesn't explode in you hands or car,
                  Second: when you say quality of materials that samsung use you meybe means looks like premiun but nothing more i was a Note 4 owner and i can sure you is not durable the metal frame got a lots of scrashes and metal decolorate on some parts and tell aluminium alloy do that xD? Because i have an ipod nano and is alloy too and still perfectly great, and otherwise the samsung battery quality is very poor only 1year out of the box and can't get a full day include with low brightness, and you say premiun i paid about 720 dollars for a premiun phone to use for long time about 2 years aprox but its not what i thinking my Xiaomi earphones and i have 2 years with them and all its perfect superb Durable and great quality
                  Third: the Battery and screen Hours its terrible QHD was a great add but no enough screen Quality include the Note 4 Brightness and Colors are not precisely awesome the look like some grays include change screen mode, the bright was ok but low for the Expensive Note line, after the note was gone i got a Samsung E5 is 5 inches but trust me the colors and bright are very powerful and impresive for a economical samsung it was impact for me,

                  4. I never come back to samsung its to expensive for jokes and fancy non-useless apps and medium Quality materials, otherwise Xiaomi give an exeptional Quality including Screen, camera, audio, and REAL battery duration.
                  The MIUI its one of the best optimized Systems running on Android over Samsung Lg and others soo don't need more than 2GB of ram to work ;) something samsung can't do it because its more interested on Marketing and Publicity and Outsourcing his products development its a fake just see the note 7 its a completely desaster.

                  just think about more than 700 to 900 dollars for samsung cellphone and Xiaomi sell his smartphones sinse 250 to 450 with 4GB of Ram and 128GB storage easily with same SoC better factures and for less, so if you have a Samsung phones you need to paid first the marketing and publicity costs and then paid for the phone :/
                  No thank you we have better option a lot of options

I was hoping for mi 5s plus, mi note 2, mi mix launches in India too, but it's not that xiaomi is dumping low end phones.it's the market in India. Budget phones with features are what most people look for. Few few are willing to spend more than a quarter of a lakh for a phone. Redmi note 3 recorded highest shipment in history for a reason. Low price, good features. If you want a really premium phone, you got to pay for it. I'm sure you would, but can't say for the majority of millions who look only for budget ones. You still can buy any xiaomi phone you want though. Pay little extra (sometimes none) for duty and import it from online shops.

                        Really best phone I ever used before. Fastest Qualcomm CPU and GPU . No lag no heating issues and awesome camera in a best price boundle.i haven't any problem since 1 month usage . Screen is definitely good in resolution and color saturation .MIUI is the best user interface for Android . Voice call quality is good .finger print sensors is very fast . I love Xiaomi & MIUI .
