But the reason Xiaomi didn't put a 2k screen is because it will drain the battery faster.Here you will have a perfect gaming device.Sony did the same with XZ.Great strategies imo.

Would you take this or the honor note 8 ?
Every phone has its own pros and cos though the only thing holding me back from this is Xiaomi's UI, and the only thing holding me back from the honor note 8 is the gpu as i have read some bad reviews. All what is care about is screen and performance, i barely use the camera for example therefore it's not a deal breaker for me.

And please don't say LeEco lemax 2.Great value for money no doubt but it's in a lower league,build quality certainly isn't better,the software optimization is... actually isn't and don't expect any upgrades.
PS.It's clear that they borrowed a little to much from the budget Redmi series(not cool at all) on this model but you're making it sound like it feels cheep and it's doesn't.

Not fully.The main problem (on most Chinese brands models not meant for the EMEA market.why would they include bands that are not used in the target market) is the lack of band 20(meaning FDD 800). In Europe this is a major disadvantage mostly for the inhabitants of rural areas as B20 is generally used in those areas because it can cover larger areas compared with higher frequency brands that cover less but can provide higher speed.
So you will have 4G in some places and in other places that are covered with the missing bands it will drop to 3G. It's a software limitation,the SOC can handle almost all the bands used in the world.
Is 3G that bad in the UK or are you interested in VoLTE? Personnel curiosity

As far as I know there is msm8996, msm8996ab, I forgot the name of the other one. Hope it helps.

So how is it possible that mi5s Plus has a 2.2GHz cluster? I don't understand though I'll be happy if it is true.
