Any news about IR port? One application I use very often on my mi4 is mi remote. NoIR port, then I'll keep my mi4 instead.

yeah, losing the audiojack is an issue but at least the phone come with the adapter not like iphone. no fm radio? seriously this thing is a problem? use internet to stream music or download them 64gb is sufficient for tons of music files. designwise its lose the mi logo in the front, which make it less recognizable thus xiaomi cannot use the consumer to brag on the phone. latest processor, good camera, quite big battery, fast charge, slim design, cheap, what else people want? audio jack adapter also come together

wezzy, 23 Apr 2017why this flagship come with small 3000mah while other mid p... morethat's coz, mid range phones have ample of space to provide bigger battery.. look at mi 6 specs.. for this spec they couldn't provide better battery than this.. ! n they removed 3.5mm Jack for same reason.. but made use of that by making phone splash resistant n also they are giving convertor for the same..

It's still a great phone, but no headphone jack? That's a bad move.

There may be a time in the future, when people won't use earphone.may be in 22nd century but certainly not today. so I'm not gonna buy this phone with wireless headset coz I have to recharge the damn headset also. thanks but no thanks xiaomi.

I really dont mind the missing of the head phone jack. Its not really a deal breaker for me. The phone still has bluetooth right

A great device. You can't get anything with better performance with this price, but no headphone jack for a medium budget flagship.... I'm not sure...

No headphone jack. Well, i would skip to Mi7 then. I'm a value conscious buyer, but even then, I can't leave without headphone jack. It would be a good prediction to say that a lot of people will not buy this product just because it lacks a basic thing like headphone jack.
