And the removal of 3.5mm jack is a bummer as well. Oh well, going to wait for 6s then. Or even next year maybe. No upgrade for me this year it seems.

I really liked the Xiaomi Mi 5 - one of the best phones I ever owned. However, I was hoping for something more compact in the Mi 6. But at 168 grams, it is nearly 40 grams heavier than the Mi 5 which was only 129 grams. It's also taller and wider, a big let down following their revolutionary MIX. Yes, better internals, but actually the Mi 5's internals were good enough for me. I was looking for OK internals with better compactness than the Mi 5 so I am disappointed in this new phone, from an appearance point of view anyway. The Mi 6 is also heavier than many other phones with a similar display size - like the Huawei P10 for example.

2.no sd card slot, 64gb is enough i think, transfer your file to your laptop/google drive/another cloud storage if you need more storage
3.1080p display, naked eye cannot see different between 1080p and above
4.no 3.5mm jack, use adaptor
5.marshmallow, read carefully, miui 8 based 7.1.1

No headphone jack ! discourage me to buy this phone. Yeah we have bluethooth, wireless headphone bla bla..., but that incovenience. I have bluethooth and wired headphone, but I only use bluethooth for sport, jogging, and the other time I prefer wired headphone.
The first reason I dont buy iphone is no headphone jack, ok I like this phone, but I guest the same, pass

Any news about the supported frequencies? Would be a shame if they chose to only support a limited set of frequencies, and not make it a truly world-roaming phone.

4.no 3.5mm jack -> a bit disappointing, but OK since bluetooth headsets are readily available
5.marshmallow -> nougat
the ceo may say that the presence of sd card may slow up the phone but there are other brands like lg,sony,samsung,htc which include sd card slots and dont experience slow speeds -> not until the device makes use of that card, try writing huge files on a class 6 card

Even IPhone has ditched it a long time ago for fast/write read data speed. Example, photos loading on Gallery.... its so obvious android users with mediocre sd cards nvr thought about. The overwhelming experience when browsing ur photos instantly is simply too much to neglect.

Yeah, Xiaomi is a budget brand, deal with it.
They make fast phones that look alright and stuff, but here and there they pay the price like on structural strength on some of their phones.
