Given me faultless service since June 201... morei have mi 11 pro, don't buy something that big, moving from 8 to 11 pro was fun at the beginning but now it is a drag to use it, try looking for xiaomi 13 or xiaomi 14 cuz both of them have a flat screen unlike 11 and 12 with usless curved screens, and both are a big but not too big screen and have sharper displays

      Very good device. Given me faultless service since June 2019. Even the battery is still in perfect condition (probably because i never charge above 80% etc).

      However I want to get rid of it now, my main problem with this phone is the volume control which has only 15 steps. While using my earbuds I find it hugely annoying not having fine control over the volume, one step is too quiet, and the next too loud.

      Not sure what to replace it with because all the phones are so big and heavy these days, i want a phone no bigger and no heavier than this. I was looking at the Galaxy s21 FE, and Pixel 7a. But not hugely convinced by either.

                    Hello everyone, as I said previously, I've had this phone for 4 years and I'm still fine unfortunately except for the battery, with wifi a few months ago I was able to get 4:30h / 5h sot (with 4g much worse) while now 4h / 4:30 but what is mysterious is the period that is not reported: for example, 35% residual - 3:30h sot with browser 30 minutes and Instagram 30 minutes; and all the rest of the hours? can anyone explain this? with other devices this does not happen and every usage is reported correctly, this is the main reason why i would change this phone

All smartphones like SSDs needs to be max at 80% storage for them to run smoothly. Free up some storage(delete cache files & backup photos and delete them from your phone, remove apps).                                     For battery replacement, it's better to get branded aftermarket ones rather than so-called "original" or "oem" batteries. Two brands that I've used are Nohon (almost 2 years) and NGS (just a few days so far). Nohon worked great for me.
                                    Also my screen broke less than a year after I bought the phone, and I replaced it with non-branded one from aliexpress. Lasted 2 years until it started turning yellow and flickering (and I've had other amoled phone that the replacement died after not even a year).
