The phone got left and right speaker right ? If mine only have sound on the right side, left side no sound at all, is it something wrong with the left speaker ?

Ravent, 06 Jul 2020This smartphone or mi 10 lite? thank youThis has a much more powerful CPU (Snapdragon 845 compared to Snapdragon 730G in the 10 lite). This is lighter. 10 lite has a bigger battery but is a much inferior phone in every way.. Mi 8 = high end, 10 lite at best = mid range.

If not work then this is quick and easy. Go Google Playstore, Install MIUI 11 Downloader Updater
Search Mi 8 in MIUI 11 Downloader Updater. Download and follow instruction below marked # if you cannot download in this app, carry on reading to download from somewhere else.
If not work then do below;
Go to xiaomifirmwareupdater.com
Search mi 8 - get the version suited for you phone Global or Russian.
If as I'm guessing is Global it is: V11.0.4.0.QEAMIXM which is Android 10 MIUI 11.
Download. Place anywhere on phone. Or download on phone is the easiest. Size is 2.1GB BTW
#Go to system update as described at start - above.
Tap the big 10 MIUI 10 logo in the middle ten times - it will say "additional update features are on".
Now select the menu on that screen which is top right the 3 dots. Click Choose Update Package - find it on phone, select it and it will update it. Easy.

After using this phone for a year, I conclude that I don't regret buying this phone.. Built quality is very good.. Performance is still great.. It gets os updates periodically also.. I just wish it has ir blaster..

I must say, after almost two years with this phone, it works flawlessly. Speed is same as the day one, 128GB of storage is more than enough for my needs, cameras are great. Probably the best purchase of my life.

For now i only have the updates for miui 11, but i'm still sticking with miui 10 .. should i just update the miui 11 ? Tq for any reply :D

You might say that Mi8's processor is just around 2X faster, but for GPU wise, it is around 3X more powerful than Realme 6.
So, please don't compare a midrange with flagship grade smartphone. If you really can top up a little bit more, get a Mi9 instead.

Yes, Oneplus still is the king of Android smartphone for best optimization outside Google Pixel series, but Xiaomi is not far behind. Considering the price, Xiaomi smartphone of course are far more value for money, but not compromise on UI updates.
