Used this as my main phone for a long time. Pretty solid but i had a bug once that made it bootloop and i had to reboot it from the recovery menu to get it to boot again. I got a new phone a few months later. Still keep this one tho. It's weird that the Mi 8 SE had Super AMOLED but the Mi 8 Lite didn't

Have this phone for almost 3 years, as a work phone (was bought brand new by the company I work for).
After almost 7 years, the speakers have started their last "waltz": earphone barely audible, speaker almost dead. battery barely holding half a day, with medium flow of phone calls.
I'd say it's time to put it to its well deserved rest.

I've bought it in 2018, still having it as a backup phone. It's close to my heart, one of my best choices. The only reason why I've changed it to a newer model is the lack of NFC payment. But the quality of the housing, the speakers, how slim it is, the colors, etc. Still a love of mine! Working perfectly!

My Mi 8 lite still alive with PixelExperience ROM. The only downside is the battery....it's terrible. Maybe require a replacement.

Well....I bought this smartphone back on 2019 and still works fine, except the battery life, as expected.
Still using MIUI V12.0.3
Works well, fast enough for my daily tasks.
Thinking of flashing with costum ROMs to give a bit of juice...is worth it?
I already unlock the bootloader

If you want my advice : If you want to buy from Xiaomi you can take POCO X3 PRO with $230 or Redmi 10 5G with $190. If from Infinix you can take the Infinix Note 10 pro with $205 if you ask me what is best of course POCO X3 PRO because it has a powerful SD 860 processor and it is resisting to water, dust and many things, You can check it on GSMARENA or Youtube.
