I've bought it in 2018, still having it as a backup phone. It's close to my heart, one of my best choices. The only reason why I've changed it to a newer model is the lack of NFC payment. But the quality of the housing, the speakers, how slim it is, the colors, etc. Still a love of mine! Working perfectly!

My Mi 8 lite still alive with PixelExperience ROM. The only downside is the battery....it's terrible. Maybe require a replacement.

Well....I bought this smartphone back on 2019 and still works fine, except the battery life, as expected.
Still using MIUI V12.0.3
Works well, fast enough for my daily tasks.
Thinking of flashing with costum ROMs to give a bit of juice...is worth it?
I already unlock the bootloader

If you want my advice : If you want to buy from Xiaomi you can take POCO X3 PRO with $230 or Redmi 10 5G with $190. If from Infinix you can take the Infinix Note 10 pro with $205 if you ask me what is best of course POCO X3 PRO because it has a powerful SD 860 processor and it is resisting to water, dust and many things, You can check it on GSMARENA or Youtube.

I use this phone everyday for 3 years. At the time, it was the best choice for it's price, but nowadays it is not worth it, there are many better and more modern options.

I've had this phone since 2018... didn't drop it once, always in the protective case... it cracked sitting all by itself in my bag doing nothing in 40 degrees C heat. Small crack right around the front facing camera and on the inside of the glass, all smooth on the outside. This was less than 1 year since buying it and it was so cheap I didn't bother with the warranty.
Yesterday it pissed its pants and died. It was on the desk, I was sleeping, wake up, come to the desk to check my notifications. after unlocking it, screen starts blinking like a bad ribbon connection and the screen dies. I could hear my notifications so I knew the phone was still working, but the replacement screen is more expensive than the whole phone.
Either way, you get what you paid for... crap, good crap while it lasts but still crap.

Used this phone since Dec 2018 until today, battery drains too fast, but my phone has already fallen in the toilet bowl 2 times and in the river 1 time still working without any problem. Camera is still quite nice. Hope will get a new update (android&MIUI).
