Mi a2 or Mi 8 lite?? In terms of camera and user experience only. I don't play games that much. I love mobile photography.

go to Settings > System and device > Additional settings > Region
there will be bloatware, but u can uninstall em just fine.

After installing some apps that run in the background for tracking location, and communicating with my watch and other stuff that is known to drain battery faster, I now get 6-8 hours of on-screen time on a charge.
With my use, that will get me through about a day and a half before the battery runs out.

I have had the Mi 8 Lite for a couple of weeks now. Very impressed with the hardware.
I have noticed that face unlock works if I change the region setting (I chose Italy). Works very fast, but it's not very secure, since I could unlock it by holding up my iPad displaying a picture of myself.
Bluetooth unlock does not work for me. Not with my car's bluetooth, and not even with my Xiaomi Amazfit Bip watch.
I have also noticed that the GPS receiver uses Galileo in addition to those mentioned in the specifications, resulting in better than expected accuracy.
I am, however, slightly disappointed by Android, but that is probably to be expected, since I have always used iOS.
At around a quarter of the price of a reasonable specced iPhone, I'm sold on the concept.
