Anonymous, 30 Oct 2018Mi 8 Lite because of the Usb Type CObviously the MI 8 Lite. The cons of MI 8 Lite over RN 6 are:
1. Modern and fresh design elements. Redmi 6 looks the same as its predecessors and you won't feel you're using a new phone.
2. USB type-C fast charging. The Redmi 6 uses the conventional usb 2.0 as its charging dock. You may want to take advantage of the quick charging via USB C.
3. Premium looks of MI 8 Lite which is not less than any modern flagships. Rather than the conventional boring metal and plastic slab of Redmi 6.
4. Lightweight than Redmi 6.
5. And the stunning display.

Anonymous, 31 Oct 2018does it have any cons ? without the 3.5mm jackIt's just a month I've been using it. Till now there's not a single lag or heating issues. I've not faced any problems yet. Its running snappy. A con of MI Chinese varient is that there are lots of bloatwares and pop ups of messages in Chinese. Behind all it's really a slippery device. You'd better use a gripppy case. There is no official note on wheather it the screen is gorilla or dragontail protected or not. So need to be cautious.

I've been using the Xiaomi Mi 8 lite (youth) version since a month. I wanna share you guys my experience. It's the 6gb/128gb varient which I bought from MI store at 1899 yuan at China. The camera quality is quite good. Recently I used this phone to shoot my trip to the great wall. But as I came from using flagship model 1+5, the camera experience is a bit downgraded. But don't forget that its a mid range device. 4k doesn't have stability though it kicks in while 1080p video shooting which is satisfactorily ok with accurate colors. The best part of the device is the build quality. Its a stunning looking phone with the glass and metal combination which makes you fall in love with it. No heatig issues found while gaming, charging or using camera. Charging is quick and can be used while charging too. But can't charge and use headphones due to absence of 3.5mm audio jack. My honest opinions in ranking out of 5:
1. Camera - 3.5 (best for its price)
2. Battery - 4 (more than 6 hours of usage)
3. Screen - 4.5 (being ips lcd, it looks gorgeous)
4. Charging - 4 (supports quick charge by bundled power brick)
5. Sound - 4 (single speaker)
6. Software - 4 (miui works fluid)
7. Build - 4.5 (looks like inspired of iphone x)

BigGuyVN, 26 Oct 2018Lol, Mi 8 Lite is same as Honor 8x. Honor 10 is much better... morena honor 8x doesn't have the ppi count of mi 8 lite. and i prefer snapdragon over kirin. and mi8 lite supports quick charge 3.0 while Honor 8x doesn't and I like miui more than emui. And of course Bluetooth 5.0 aptx for better connection and output of wireless earphone. Honor 10 is more expensive than mi 8 lite however I'd rather get pocophone instead of that because like i said i prefer s Snapdragon.
