Wtf? Literally no difference from the Mi 8 other than the smaller battery, which is obviously a downgrade from the Mi 8 yet is $100 more expensive. What is even the point of this release....

A perfect dimensions and excellent phone for me but poor battery. Also I don't know who is advising Xiaomi to omit the 3.5mm Jack and SD card slot in all their premium phones.

What's the point of releasing the pro version if it does not have the infrared and the battery is still in the range of 3000-3300 mAh. The huawei P20 pro has a much lager battery capacity and infrared which is very useful

What is the difference between this and Mi 8 other than UD scanner? And also battery is downgraded. Anyway the red color is fantastic.

Was looking to upgrade from a Mi6 but as others have pointed out the battery is rather small with no IP rating and for me personally the fact that there is no IR Blaster means I will stick with my Mi6.

not sure if Xiaomi is so sure about it's battery performance endurance with a mere 3000 mAH juice pack. if battery compromise is an inverse proportion to design, then it's nothing short of sucicide.. Sorry #Mi8(true legend to be missed), RIP #Mi8 Pro... And..
More importantly, Welcome#1+6T

with 3000 mAH, it could've been better suffixed as 'Pre' than 'Pro'
