I test an average of 5 smartphones a day, for its price it is the best only the sterio sound when I feel apart from it

MI 9 is better all the way than SE:
bigger screen, gorila 6 glass, better Chipset, better GPU, better CPU, 6/8Gb Ram version, Laser autofocus, optical zoom on camera, better battery capacity and battery life, quick charge 4+, wireless charge

Update support is pretty bad, it's almost the half of august and this phone is still on the june security patch...

Mi9 has been updated to Android Q(either beta5 or 6 idk) today via MiUI 10 EU rom. won't arrive via OTA though

oldy99, 06 Aug 2019I'm really sorry guys, but I cannot agree with people' sayi... moreFair points. In general, I am happy with the image quality, it's a bit more realistic in comparison to other high-end phones. I'm using Gcam in parallel but to be honest most of the time I'm OK using the regular camera app.
The speaker sound is nothing to write home about, I agree. However, 90% of the time I'm using earbuds or a Bluetooth speaker so I can live with that.
In the end, it's all about striking a balance between specs and price and from this perspective, Mi 9 is hard to beat.
