My phone turns off suddenly,esp while using camera or data. I Changed the battery, it worked just for 10 days and the problem again happened with new battery. Do u have any idea??

Though I did update to MIUI 12.5 as soon as it was available back then. Sadly the screen is suffering from smears since the oelophobic coating is nearly gone.

I think this is a great device. I have it over 4 years now and still I'm not sure if I need a new device, it does the job just fine. The battery is around 67% of capacity but I mostly turn off all unnecessary stuff and limit background activity. Also I am on MIUI 12... I think there was update to 12.5 a long time ago but I avoided it for some time and now it disappeared completely.
Other then that I might try to put LineageOS 21 on this device. I think that will give it a year or even two of life. I think 5 years of life for a phone nowadays should be standard and 7 years as a premium instead of barely 2-3 years of support, if that...

Thanks.There are apps (e.g. BatteryOne) that can analyze charging process and determine battery health, the more cycles the more precise the result will be. These apps can also help to minimize wear by keeping charge between 20 ... 80% and warning if temperature is getting too high. Anyway they can calculate actual capacity and predict screen on time to expect.

I have been using this phone for 4 years and I never felt the need of a new one. I think it is a great built and I have dropped it a few times. The only reason I would get a new one is just to have a great camera. If I get a new one, i would still keep this one as I like to have a Jack 3.5

Axios, 18 Sep 2023After almost 3 years of experience, my device stops running... moreMine is almost 4 years in use now and is running flawlessly. Sure, being on MIUI 12.5 global the last security update was June 2021, but that would be the only reason to switch.
Though I could easily buy another phone, I'll stick with it as long as possible. Loving the idea that things can last much longer than manufacturers like. Same with car btw.

After almost 3 years of experience, my device stops running and instantly infinite reloading giving no advice about the issue.
It was a nice phone, but it's such strange that the problems became after the company releases almost 4 new devices.
They don't consider that there's people that can't afford new devices yearly.
Another thing to consider is such suspicious, that base OS consume 3.5gb of RAM in an 6gb device.

After 2 years the display of this phone is damaged and the cost of this display is very costly otherwise all is okay with this phone.

When I was stuck on old version sometime I changed region to Austria or India and surprisingly an OS update became available.
