    Hello mobile fans.
    If anyone has used both phones:

    Samsung A50 and Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite;

    is there something worth saying that could help buyers to decide? Even though pecifications are out there, pretty much everything is known, it's still helpful if you point out something.

    However I'm talking primarily about personal experience in dealing with those two phones. Has one of them disappointed you greatly and in which way?

    For me, I'm kinda wary of glass phones. Plastic is lighter than glass and absorbers shock better. I prefer:
    metal > plastic > glass

    So I would choose A50 if it were that only.

    But Mi 9 Lite has several advantages. It has more RAM, 6 vs 4 for A50, which is important and also it comes with a battery of same size but it's a better performing battery according to all tests out there.
    Can I be confident that its battery will keep performing better after receiving updates and with usual decline or maybe it turns out A50 has a better battery after couple of months?

    If battery remains better and with extra RAM maybe I could embrace glass.

    Anyone having SAR problems?
    Cca 1.4 for Mi 9 Lite, cca 0.3 for A50.

        Anonymous, 26 Nov 2019Mi 9 Lite or Redmi Note 8? Is Snapdragon 710 worth it or Sn... moreThey are both value for money devices. If you want a better battery life, awesome media experience and great display, go for Mi9 Lite. AMOLED display requires less battery. At the same time, colours are quite vivid. Sd 710 provides flagship performance. Sd 665 is still good. But you may face lag in 1 or two years, now choice is upto you.

                      miboys, 23 Nov 2019hi. anyone experienced screen burn in mi 9 lite? or amoled ... moreScree burn-in happens even on IPS LCD, it's not specific to amoled. The main reason is using the screen at a high level of brightness for long hours (gaming, sunlight, gps guide when driving ...) better to set the brightness manually under 50%. Don't use automatic !

                                    Further testing find face unlock fast and light reliable (bit of light it still works). Tempered glass installed and finger prints work fine (now just left and right thumb after factory reset). Minor bug prevalent after factory reset is sd card is misrepresent in system settings. 260gb shows even though I formatted to a 242gb Fat32 partition between 4gb beginning and ending blank space in attempts of troubleshooting on a 256gb Kingston card.
                                    Initially I found battery draining at high points initially after set-up and update to Miui 11. Since then I've factory reset and rather than restore 120+ app backups from a previous phone I've set up manually. So far 50 apps installed and have not seen the drops on the graph. I'm just suggesting a factory reset if you've got battery drain after the update. It's not exact science. It could be one of the other 70 apps I've yet to install or a combination

                                      I need your help with an honest opinion about what it is best to buy between the Mi 9 Lite and the Pocophone F1 from someone who has used them both, assuming that both smartphones cost the same (currently the F1 is more expensive in Amazon US), which would recommend me beyond the chipset and power, which has better price/features ratio in the practice of daily use (camera, screen, autonomy, connections). Thank you.

                                        This phone should have been called the Mi A3 Pro and should run Android One, instead squeeze it into the already crowded Mi9 bunch.
