Is this still a good inexpensive AMOLED phone to get in 2020? I really want OLED and something better than a 6xx snapdragon, coming from a MiA1, but not samsung or more than a 7xx snapdragon.

Great phone overall, just wanted to know if someone could help me with my messenger notifications, sometimes they won't show up on my lockscreen. And also whatsapp opens a small window (to reply to messages) on top of the app I have open (instead of taking me to the app itself to reply which is what I want).
Btw, what drains the battery more?: Turning on the screen everytime I receive a notification or having the always on display turn on everytime I receive a notification?
Oh, and are there any issues with the android 10 update?

after 3 months usage around 4 to 5 months, xiaomi eats ram system a lot or not? Pliss reply

I am using this one, very beautiful and running swift. I'm waiting for CC10 the real successor of Cc9. I hope Cc10 might be released with better camera sensor with telephoto lense and OIS, punch hole high resolution Amoled display, and 768 or 775 SD processor. Price should be under 400 USD, Aluminum frame, 3.5mm headphone jack, IR bluster, ufs 3.0, 4310mah battery and 33W quick charge. 6GB/8GB Ram, 128/256 gb roam.

Just got this phone today, its pretty good, its fast, no slowdowns, miui has lots of customization imo. My only nitpicks so far, are that the phone is big, I hate phone sizes of these days. And also I feel the audio quality through headphones is a bit underwhelming (maybe im not uses to ir yet idk)
Also, is the update to android 10 good? Like, no bugs or performance issues if I update?.

                        Hello
i've been playing Mobile Legends: Bang Bang since i first bought the phone at the begining of 2020 till now.
Since May 15 i've noticed that my phone is heating more than ussual on the upper part of the back and the heat is more noticeable on the uper screen
and the problem still persists to this day.
I haven't felt alot of heat while playing till May 15, i ussualy checked how is the temperature of the phone by the touch of my hand on the back and on the screen
i'm always playing in a cool environment indoors and keep all the settings in the game on low graphics and low frame rate.
I have tried to uninstall few unused apps, restart the phone, and contact the MIUI Services and feedback app but didn't got an answer.
I wanted to ask if anyone else had or having this problem with the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite phone or maybe other Xiaomi phone in reference and if there is a solution.
Hope for feedback soon and thak you for helping.

The icons also have a cheap white frame look.
I would preffer native android as miui does not make the experience better.

So you're saying you haven't been able to set up the notification system properly even though there are many online articles that describe exactly how to make notifications work in MIUI?
This is something to worry about, it could mean that MIUI has even become more restrictive.

Beware with xiaomi, miui has many problems like most of the notifications(whatsapp for example) doesnt sound, even with the right settings. Miui launcher is a mess and icons are white framed so your main screen will look like a 90's desktop computer. I own this model and you have to work hard to get the correct settins so this thing can be usable as a normal phone.
                                        To sum it up:
                                        - bad icon display making your phone cheap looking
                                        - random notification system (sometimes work sometimes not).
NOT RECOMENDED. My next phone wont be a xiaomi. They are not economical, but cheap (in the whole meaning).
