It's crazy that an excellent mid-range phone like this only got updates for like 2 years before Xiaomi suddenly stopped at Android 11 (MIUI 12.1.4 Global)

Have had the 9T 4 years and have been pretty happy with it other than Ziaomi's lack of support. I have replaced the screen and battery twice and just replaced the power button. Am I alone in thinking video way better than pics? Would like stablization and, as.mentioned, support, but I.still use the 9T as my daily carry

I love this phone. It's been with me for 4 years now and battery still works fine. I bought an Oppo Reno 5G as a replacement for this back then and I gave this to my wife. After 6 months we swapped. I really love this phone.

It's been nearly 4 years I am using this phone and now looking for the best budget alternative (spec wise). What would you guys suggest? There's no doubt that Mi 9T was a maestro in all aspects.

I'm currently flashed on a A12 and it's so good. Whenever I flash a new software, it feels like I bought a new phone. I also dropped it X amount of times, and absolutely no issues.
The only issue is the battery being worse over time, but that's normal for a 4 year old phone

Bought in in October 2019, rooted it and using custom roms on A12. It's still very fast and camera is still working well without issues with the front camera. The only issue is the battery being way worse over time, but I cannot blame it.

Bought this on late december 2019 and now 2023 still rocking with this phone. Having no issue at all for me. Surely one of the greatest xiaomi smartphone ever made.

I have had this phone for 4 years and have yet to find an excuse to swap it out for a new one. It works almost as well as the day I bought it.

Hi so I've been using this phone for more than 2 years now and I suddenly got an issue, While I was olaying Genshin, i randomly made a screenshot and clicked on the "Send" button. After that, When I returned Genshin didn't respond and it frozed after the screenshot. After I check, the speakers doesn't make a sound even the ringtones. I formatted the phone and the issue was still there. also the mic doesn't work too when i tested on Recorder. The Camera crashes as well when I switch to Video. Everything else that needs mic doesnt work and i cant play videos everywhere. I really need help, this is a good phone I've used for years and I don't wanna switch to a newer one yet is there a way for this to be fixed
