If no joy then sounds like your LCD is faulty if its vibrating but no screen. Could be the battery too if its dead and trying to boot. If you say if its got music playing then its booting but no screen means more LCD issues.

D., 05 Aug 2019Thanks for useful posts guys, sounds like more good news ab... moreStock camera is bad in low light, but gcam makes pretty decent pics. It's a bit buggy and the mod i'm using often force-closes (Other mods i tested had other problems like non-working EIS even at full hd@ 30fps), but it's worth it.

Hello, I am interested in how the Xiaomi MI 9T works, how good the photos taken with the 48MP main camera are, I am particularly interested in night photography and video, or in the photos and videos all the details I think, especially the lighting parts such as captions , lights and the like, and how it's done with just stabilizing photos and videos, because many photos will be done both at night and during the day, so I'm also wondering how it's done together and of course I'm interested in how the sound works while shooting what kind of concert how good is it and what are the problems. How the phone dims automatically and, of course, the battery life itself. I thank everyone for every answer and help.

Thanks for useful posts guys, sounds like more good news about the phone.

I've never been using OLED screen for a long time period so kinda interested in quality, PWR flicker etc. So it's good to hear this one is pretty decent and that's why if, this is the one worth start with. (Actually, maybe I wouldn't mind exchange for top quality LCD and lower SAR value but that's just if and maybe I'd change my mind if I experienced it. Also I've seen phones with lower SAR but worse reception though it doesn't mean this is depending directly.) Funny thing is K20 has 'anti-flicker' option (as they told me), so at least it suggests they will update also here.

Please if you feel like someone write your opinion about low light daytime shots in a few words. It's known camera does well in good conditions but this is where some opinions differ.

                    That's it for now.

Camera performance will be mostly equal.

So far i really like the phone. It has the strongest cellular reception i've seen. Strongest speaker too. Headphone sound is loud and clear.
And in standby, with 2 sim cards and WiFi, it didn't lose 10%, it stayed at 100% during the night. Really impressive.
No heating too, except with camera usage or 4G downloading (And all 4G modules heat up, it can't be avoided).

After reading all the scaremongering, I've been surprised by the screen. I don't notice any flicker even in the middle of the night with the lowest brightness setting, even though I am very sensitive to PWM flicker.

No heating issues on my unit, which I have been using for two weeks now.

10% battery per day on idle sounds about right.

Since this phone is among my top candidates for purchase these days, I like the fact someone wrote more about it (what you surely did ;) ).

SAR value was already discussed here. According to that, it seems there's no need to worry anyhow. For more information than I keep in mind myself, put "SAR" into the search field below and then 'Search Opinions'.

Battery idle time confirms previous observations 10% daily.

Some users experience heating issues both when battery is charging and when SoC has some work to do. So if you could -later- leave a comment about your experience here it could be useful.

Secondly I'd like to confirm if there's DC dimming present. It should be in display settings as 'anti-flicker' option. So if you (or someone else) happen to bother take a look I'll be glad.

Other than that, I think I already know what I need so that's all from me. Phone's quite good and if not defective unit, everybody likes it.

To colaborate with all that may have concerns about this device: after a long (long, long, long) quest, I finally chose the Mi 9T as my new buddy for the next two years (minimum). I was considerably hesitant because of the camera (there are so many comments about the fragility of the pop-up camera, and the general quality of images/videos) and processor (how long will it attend my usage before getting "too old"?). As many here may be doing, I watched dozens of videos, read many reviews, accompanied forums etc. Anyway, I ended up buying it, and yesterday it arrived to me. The results come below.

                                      1. The box is compact and simple, but made of resistant material, what transmits certain confidence with what's inside.

                                      2. The phone is beautiful (mine is black), more than you can see in videos or pictures, and while holding it you feel it weights enough for not to be heavy but to give that sensation of "not cheap thing, it was well made". Ah, the back glass loves fingerprints, and to protect it I'd get a case (other than the one that comes together), at least I bought one of my choice.

                                      3. After turning the phone on, in less than two minutes I had a request to update the system.

                                      4. Audio is good, audible and clean, even if not in maximum, at least in a room, for example. (Don't listen to anything without earphones when outside, please.)

                                      5. The screen is beautiful indeed, the brightness was already good and pleasant, and when I noticed, it was only 50%, so imagine!

                                      6. Battery consumed a little fast than I was expecting (10% in one hour) due to updates and primary adjustments, but I imagine it'll get better soon, it was the first usage. Standby consumption was 5% over 12 hours -- accurate test.

                                      7. The cameras satisfied me, both frontal and rear, so giving ears to those many reviews can mess up with your ideas, making you only look for "the best" in terms of camera, but this one will attend you if you are not a pro in photography -- plus, I installed another camera app (most will know what I'm talking about) and it works well too. And the fragility of the pop-up camera is gone after I could touch it myself, and I'm not intending to take it to swimming pools or sandy/dusty areas constantly, and even if I do once in a while, it will be safe, it seems well built.

Well, I might be forgetting some details about my former concerns, but once with this phone in hands, they faded away.

The only thing that I'm now interested (more than concerned) in is the SAR value. Although some people said (even here in this forum) that it's high, does anyone know if it surpasses the recommended/acceptable limits?

                                      Greetings from Brazil!

PS: I am updating from a deared Moto Z Play (first generation) that endured three years and was never a headache to me, and I'm satisfied with my new phone.
