Xiaomi Mi 9T coming to Asian markets on June 20

Sagar, 13 June 2019

The Xiaomi Mi 9T, which was unveiled yesterday will debut in Asia next week on June 20, starting with Malaysia.

The launch event will be held in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur and will be open to fans. Those who wish to attend the event will have to register here by 11.59 PM local time on June 14.

The Mi 9T is a re-branded Redmi K20 and is going to be available in Europe next week. It's priced at €329 ($370) for the 6GB/64GB variant and €369 ($420) for the 6GB/128GB model. There will also be a launch day promo that drops the base model to €299 ($340).

Xiaomi was also expected to announce the Redmi K20 Pro as the Mi 9T Pro for the global markets yesterday, but that didn't happen. So it's currently unclear whether the company doesn't plan on launching the Mi 9T Pro at all, or will do it a later date; maybe on June 20.

We will have to wait until next Thursday to know more.
