no one has bothered to check too deeply because the solution is very easy. just replace the hacked firmware with the proper one from miui.

I bought this phone just 2 days ago its a very beautiful phone with a powerful cpu but it has crashed at least 10 times on me now in just 2 days. just randomly crashes and reboots itself. i have previously owned oppo smartphones the last one being f11 pro for 8 months and it has never frozen on me even once. the mi 9t pro also always heats up like a thermos while f11 pro rarely did heat up. i just regret buying this phone

My Mi 9T Pro MIUI 11.0.1.0 (Global Version), get easily heat up when doing normal stuff, but when it comes to gaming it getting worse, the battery temperature reach 41.7C and CPU can reach 52C in just 8 minutes and that is not normal, the heat mainly from back of the phone (near camera, below earphone jack).
I also asked other Mi 9T Pro users, some of there having the same problem (Global rom users), some of them said their phone doesn't even reach 40C when playing games for hours (EU rom users). So I think the problem only happens in Global ROM.

I have purchased this phone 10 day ago. I have been mesmerized by it's looks, construction and specs. But, It's not quite like that. What I have encountered: from time to time it looses wi-fi signal even if on the screen it shows to have full signal. I have tested this issue with other phones connected to the same router. Only the xiaomi did that. On mobile data does the same, it is connected to my mobile carrier, I'm able to make and receive phone calls but I have no internet connection. Volume buttons work strange: one push just activates the function, you have to press again to actually move the volume up or down. The swipe function it's not quite responsive, many times I have to swipe 2 or 3 times to unlock-it (I did not used the fingerprint sensor). Settings menu very unintuitive with spelling errors ( at least in my language - romanian). I think this phone was rushed in a hurry before it war thoroughly tested. Too bad, has good specs but badly implemented.

Great little phone. Got it because I couldn't stand EMUI on my P30 and it's better in every regard, except for the camera. And NO, the Google Camera port doesn't make the camera a dream. It's better but still only good and the broken features with it are annoying. Overall a great phone. Good performance, great battery life, nice screen and I personally like MIUI.

Gagi, 26 Dec 2019I used lg with quad dac before this phone, and a downgrade ... moreWell that's Tobe expected; remember, this phone is around a third the price of LG's current flagships. I'm hoping I won't hear much of difference going from the Galaxy Note 9 to this phone, though keep on mind I only have a pair of Tin T2s so I probably won't notice much of a difference.
