Subi the dog, 18 Feb 2018I find that this phone is awesome. No problems.GPS problem after November patch, January Patch make it slightly better but still very slow to lock to location, sometimes take a few minutes to lock to position, this is troublesome for me as I need to use Waze all the time.

I been using this phone nearly one month.. the worst phone that I never use it compares to other Xiaomi China phone maker.
1) Bad Camera Light (Front & Rear)
2) Bad Operation in Android compares to MIUI (e.g Redmi Note 3 and else)
3) Not Attractive and Efficient Function on Voice Recorder, Video Camera, etc
4) Much Expensive than other Redmi Note phone
I'm not encourage for those user to buy this phone according to above comments listed.
Xiaomi really need to look into it especially the camera is too dark to capture scenery even in dual camera ..

You people complain too much, if you want a perfect device go spend $1000!! I bet you'll still complain, nothing in this world is perfect. But as me and my Mi A1, I have nothing to complain about. Performance, breeze, battery, awesome!!

Front camera result is too pale. I used mi4i before and the result in mi4i is more colorful.
If you have used other versions of xiaomi phone before, you will realize that there are too many useful apps which are not available now in pure android like note, voice recorder, weather, compass, dual apps. Of course, there are so many similar apps there in Google play but you get ads which is annoying. SMS messages need to be deleted one by one, there's no option to delete all. in MIUI, when there's incoming unread chatt in Whatsapp,Line,etc you will get red icon in the corner of the apps but in android, the notification keep on floating on the home screen until you read it.I don't know if it's just because of the setting.

Liam, 15 Feb 2018But poor battery, pooper performance compare to note 5 pro. Since Redmi 5 Pro is using a higher chipset and has come to the market after almost one year - it is supposed to have better performance.
Regarding battery - it is because of MiUI and not everyone is a fan of MiUI

Why don't you just glued a 20000mha power bank to your phone, then it can last you whole week...lol
