After June Update. Wifi problem. Always show wifi sign with cross social apps works but other like Google Chrome and youtube not work. Not always but some time.

After the June 2020 security update my mi a1 has an issue, the phone charges very slowly. I changed the cables and adapter its no use it still charges very slowly....what should i do, is my become weak

my mia1 phone keep lagging. it periodically said google framework stopped, and basically any other apps was stopped everytime i use it. it restart automatically about 3-4 times a day. is there any way to fix it without factory reset? should i upgrade to the newest software update? i still use the nougat version

You can port that version, but that is possible only after bootloader unlocking.

My first and last Xiaomi phone. I have been dealing with battery issues for months, it drains too quickly. It started in 2019 but there was an update afterwards that fixed it but now i have been facing the same issue for 2 months, I have given up on the idea of a fix. There is also an issue with the fingerprint sensor, it's like it became alive and its mission is pissing me off.
The phone itself is good but their (lack of) support is terrible.

Basically these phones are not built to last more than 2 years.

Peter, 04 May 2020Yep, I'm done with xiaomi phones now, the firmware updates ... moreI hold same opinion. Was excited about this phones two years ago, no more Xiaomi. MI A1 is good design phone, but metal is no more straight near volume buttons. No drops. Camera quality is like you said less than average for price. Most photos automatically are under light, too browish. I mean you can set it otherwise, but who has time when you need photo instant. Also it is too big in size. I bought from DNA store A40 from Samsung, it is less weight, less size and bigger screen??? I was amazed when sales person did offer for 169 on it and from case minus 10 percent. I immediately bought for camera quality. He told also Super amoled in that phone, so it may be a reason why my screen on xiaomi was also too little on high brightness. You couldn't see anything on xiaomi when full sun outside even at maxium brightness. This is why I traded for new phone, else than Xiaoimi phones.

Probably your battery has aged, it get expand & push the screen out from the holder.

AnonD-836132, 30 Apr 2020My hopes for this device getting an A10 update are fading away :(As far as I've known, Xiaomi only support the android version update for 2 years. Our A1 came out with android 7 and it's already had 2 major upgrades to android 8 and 9. So I don't think that we would get android 10.
