yesterday i go to buy m... moreJust a tricks, salesman phone no sim card, then clear all the RAM not connect to network, minimal apps, then show artificially lots of free RAM.
If you clear the running apps MiA1 will show 2.0GB free RAM, that with network on & sim card insert.
If you run your phone with only minimal apps sure you have plenty free RAM but having such phone might as well buy a Nokia 3310.... lol

yesterday i go to buy mi a1 but salesman confuses me that lenovo k8 note has more than 2.5 gb ram available and mi a1 has just 1.5gb and he also said that preinstalled apps in lenovo can be deleted which frees ram of lenovo
im confuse which mobile to be bought ?

NFC in my country is Not For Citizen...lol

AnonD-701433, 20 Jan 2018why would you want your ram to be free??.... thats a waste.....You can load more apps at once with more available RAM & also for future update, that why Samsung will only give you 1 or 2 update max, there RAM already max out.

I know they're considered low-end phone, but why do they always exclude NFC? Just because I don't want to spend a fortune on a phone doesn't mean I don't want to use Android/Google Pay..

aryan, 20 Jan 2018what will be the original ram after buying phone means what... moreYou can't determine the RAM without apps as there sure to be system apps & preinstall apps, anyways the total RAM is 3594MB & most of the time 1500MB is available as free RAM even with more than 10 apps running, the max I ever got is 42% available, mean there are ample free RAM, compare to pathetic Samsung would use up 85% of the RAM with merely 15% free due to the rubbish Bloatware from Touch Wizz UI.
MiA1 use the best & most efficient Stock Android in the market now, you can't get anything better.
