Is this device getting Android Q? Just asking. Won't be disappointed if it didn't. I am happy with this device and hoping to use it for a long time.

YOU HAVE TO LEARN SOMETHING!
Just update your device until the LATEST update of the native version of Android. This means: this phone was launched with Android 7.1.2, don't update to 8 or 9. It's so simple.
I have this phone, Android 7, everything OK!!!!!!!!

The volume and power butt... moreThis is a common problems with Xiaomi phone, I have 2 other Xiaomi phone having the same problem, only way to solve it is to replace the button & mechanism, my current MiA1 doesn't have this issue because I installed lock screen widget & I always uses finger print sensor to unlock, try minimise the usage of power & volume rocker as much as possible.

I have a problem with this phone. The volume and power button doesnt respond on first click as it used to be before.

Had problem of battery drain and and gps failed to respond correct positioning after update to Android 9.
Finally, did hard reset and am back to good SOT and gps back on track.
This might help users who suffered after the update.

i bought 2 weeks ago distributor warranty in Indonesia, my complaint why the battery feels wasteful huh, is it really like that, I use xiaomi 4x prime, very durable battery ..

I use this smartphone as my daily driver, even my whole family using this smartphone (really!) since it was first released in Indonesia. I always update every month and always do a factory reset after updating.
Now, in this July 2019 update, this smartphone is still capable of running any application without lag, the battery can still last up to 10 hours in normal use, and there are no lost GPS constraints and slow 4G. No audio problem, no charging problem, no camera problem!
I'm very happy with the quality of Xiaomi smartphone. Maybe I'll still survive until Mi A4 release: D

Wanted a change to latest Android One by XIAOMI .. but disappointed by the screen resolution of Mi A3 , hence will have to wait and wait till Xiaomi launches new Android one.
hope xiaomi launches one with LCD screen of good resolution ....1080P
LCD Screens are good for colour editing of Images as they come closure to natural colours.

Anyway nowadays even Samsung One UI come with very little pre installed apps that can't be delete or deactivate.

updated to 8 out of the box and Pie 9 now and may be to q soon ... and Every months we have security update this is the best of android one

I don't like to bother rooting and doing other procedures to remove those gargabe.
Android stock, for me, it's a no-garbage phone, but IT'S NOT an "always updated day 0" phone.
