I'm using this phone for 3 days. Battery is draining very fast. I don't play games. Can anyone help me how to solve it ? I'm afraid of going to mi service centre in kolkata.
I think no one should go for stock android after urging TOUCH WIZ or MIUI. I regret that I have sold my note 4 after using 8.5 months.

Try out this phone in Malaysia shop, blazing fast & smooth, Stock Android are very simple & straightforward, drawback is too simple & plain, so much so that even simple apps like File Manager, battery percentage indicator, Photo Galery is not available, I missed many features in MIUI, guess it's not for me after been spoiled by Touch Wizz & MIUi for years.

what a joke from xiaomi, September coming to end and still no security update, no update for problems that many people are reporting to them. I was nexus 5 user before I bought MI A1 because they promised regular updates, a pathetic Chinese company, those who are thinking to buy then please don't buy, wait for other mid-range phones which comes under android one program.

MiA1 run on stock android (only camera still run on Xiaomi UI as stock android not compatible with dual lens camera).
in terms of hardware is identically same.
Both has its pro & cons
Stock Android has faster performance & faster android updates but lack of many apps like a proper file manager, apps lock, dual apps (dual whatapps & wechat), changeable theme, apps lock, compass & etc.
MIUI has richer preloaded apps & more function, but at the expense of slower performance & slower updates (though MIUI has the most update compare to most other UI)
End of the day it's depends what you looking for in a phone.
