y, 18 Aug 2018I like this phone so I when to check it out in a shop today... moreThere is no radio apps or shall I called it widget in MiA1, the only way for you to listen to FM Radio is to key in a bunch of code to activate the hardware test mode, but it very difficult to control the volume & station in hardware test mode.

You can't install FM Radio widget in MiA1.

If you like listening to FM Radio all day, is better that you get Redmi Note 5 or other brand & model that come with FM Radio.

The demo phone has few apps but I cant find any radio app inside. Is it the 'radio app' come with new phone or is it possible the 'radio app' has been deleted from the demo unit? I like to listen to radio in the morning and evening.

      Disappoints with MiA1, very bad network connection & inaccurate GPS, photo taken indoor not clear, FM Radio no widget need to go to test mode to listen & very troublesome, screen colour very pale, i thought Pure Android should not lag, but apparently this phone quite lag, phone update often have bugs & need to wait for update to solve, problem is each update solve a few bugs & bring in new bugs, is like endless problems.

        Bought it today second hand for 100 euros. Great phone after shiter phones. Camera good at sunny weather. Night photos not very clear

                Can someone who has this phone please confirm that it has the IR Blaster remote control feature? (I find this incredibly useful wen traveling. Hotels/apartments often provide only a basic remote; some have a Smart TV with far more features or services than you can access. Using a full-function remote on a phone or tablet gets you all of these features back.)

                                    just a suggestion, if you plan to buy xiaomi smartphone, buy it every year so u get the lastest support from the team ( 5 times with xiaomi, and mi a1 is the last, change back to samsung it have better support )

I will be very unhappy if they don't upgrade to android p. Also, Currently, Android Pie is launched for Android, not Android One. They are different. So, I am sure if Android Pie is launched for Android one, Mi A1 should get it.
