Extr... moresame here, the volume is too low for music, they lowered when everyone complained about the hissing from earphone jack, but now it is distorted and low, so stop complaining because it opens more issues, i rather the hissing and high volume..

Now I can't tell what the LED notification is about, as all notification is just a constant on light, Incoming message, low battery, charging, all the same.
Do these people even test the update before release it to the user, I have loss all my confidence on Xiaomi Android One program, MiA2 is definitely a big no no to me.

CMAC, 24 Jul 2018Just checked decibels on volume of 8,1 updated m1 ...same a... moreVolume from the 3.5mm audio jack thru earphones or headphones, not the phone speaker.
I tested 4 pairs of earphones & 1 pair of headphones, all shown similar low volume, then I test it on my Samsung phone the volume are normal, this shows the issue are with the phone after update.
Luckily I listen to FM radio using another phone, as MiA1 FM Radio has no widget to activate or control, can only access thru test mode.
The low volume issue starts since 1st Oreo 8.1 update & the second update doesn't seem to able to solve it.
The battery life also going from 1.5 day to barely 1 day, SOT drop from 5.5-6hr to 4.5-5hr, unplug the phone at 6am & by 8:30pm it went down to 2%, this is just base on average usage.
Don't factory reset, problem still there.
Though I have worst encounter during Oreo 8.0 update on 31st December 2017, But still this is frustrating.

Compare with other 2017 midrange phone, MiA1 definitely have more issue & apps crash, i own a same price range Samsung & never once i have apps crash, compare to MiA1 which have apps crash almost on daily basis.

Updated to 8.1.0 a few days ago.
I now cannot send SMS out!
Sms in, phone in and out, 4G are fine..
Anyone same problem?

Sometimes my google app freezes but I've been experiencing it for a year now, even on my previous LG G3, so it is not exclusive to A1...

Bwoah, 23 Jul 2018MI A1 will get Android 9(P) but im not sure redmi note 5 pr... moreit's better to have a stable but older version of Android than a unstable vision of newer Android, So far MiA1 Oreo 8.0 & 8.1 been giving us hell time.
Each update bring more bugs than improvement.
