Vic4BBM, 18 Jan 2021Call recorder works fine even on Android 9. Are you sure about that? And are you talking about Mi A1 (stock android) ? May be those phones who have different os such as one ui, miui, color os etc.. they can still record calls. But as much I googled, there is no way to record calls on Android Pie (at least on stock android). Those call recorder apps are recording only your voice but not the other person voice.

Can somebody please help me? My phone is showing Total memory as 50 GB only. I have checked it on different file managers and storage analyzer apps. But in my friend's Mi A1 it shows around 54 GB. I did hard reset 2-3 times already. But no luck. Can you please check and confirm how much total storage do you have in your Mi A1? And what should I do to get actual storage?

After owning this phone for 3 years, i can says it give me endless headache, battery bloated after 1.5 years, i replaced it, power button failed after 1.5 years as well, GPS totally can't function properly, phone in low light is a jokes, LCD screen spoilt after 2 years, currently the phone lying in my drawer along with other dead phone i used to own.

I have been using it since May 2018. It's still perfect, I can't complain about anything. Just the video quality has never been very good. But it's a very good phone for its price, the battery still holds a full day and I like the picture it takes, especially with the portrait camera. OS and apps work quick.

I am using this phone since 2017 Dec. its a nice phone. I don't face any huge issues with this till now. In some cases, my phone got heat while charging, and also a little hard to press the volume button. other than that this phone is very good for me and I love it to use.

Phone is 2,5 years now, gave it my brother. He did not like it.
Battery is a joke does not hold... Power button hard to press...
No security updates... Junk phone after 2 years... never again.
As soon as he trades Sasmung phone in offer which may come, this will be sent to warranty. DNA mobile provider gave 3 year full warranty for every phone purchase at them.

I brought this one in October 2017 ....and it still working fine.....just power button have to press hardly....I have problems while multitasking and heavy aap.....but if plenty of space is available you won't face much problem.... certainly happy with this phone😊😉

I bought the phone in 2017 December and been working fine until now that I am facing problems with the charging problem and power button hard to press. Unfortunately where I live the spare parts are not available until in another city which is really annoying.

I have been using this phone since 2017 and still using it as a daily driver. Just installed custom ROM Android 10 since the official support only at Android 9. I think this is a model with a lot of custom ROMs available out there.

For those who wish to have custom ROM installed on this device, I would recommend to go for Pixel Experience ROM.
I have not installed on MiA1, but am using it for my old Moto G3 since 2018. It's a great experience for those used to vanilla Android.
Other ones can be CrDroid and Lineage OS.
Once I buy a new device, I am going to install custom ROM on this MiA1 of mine.
