hello mi a1 users. what is the latest oreo version right now (8.x.x)? and the latest android security patch?
i dont know if mine is latest coz i try to check for update and it doesnt show any new, it is 8.0.0 and january patch

AnonD-701433, 07 Mar 2018well, i have no gps problems with my device, so its nothing... moreThe GPS work fine when it's under Nougat, after November security patch it start giving problem, after Oreo update update the GPS totally not working, then January security patch make it slightly better but still very slow GPS lock & keep having GPS signal loss.
I have sent it to service centre, the technician claim nothing wrong with the GPS hardware, he daus5he received many similar complain from customer, as me to wait for new update to see the issue been rectify, bought the phone for 6 months, 1st month GPS working, 2nd & 3rd months has problem, 4th month totally not working, 5th & 6th month GPS very slow & loss signal.
What a disaster experience with Xiaomi.

Suddenly in fastboot mode. Waited for 1 hour before stopping the mode by long press of power button. Any idea why this happened?

Anonymous, 07 Mar 2018Seem Xiaomi pull back the February Security Patch few days ... moreso what? your phine still runs smoothly abd dors evrything tht u nid it to do..those security patches dont really improve phones perfomance they just give giv u peace of mind..trust me no1 wants to hack your phone ..you are not that importnt.so dont worry bout security patches no one is intereated in your secrets to be honest

AnonD-701433, 06 Mar 2018put it to high accuracy maybe? jesus...Tried every method, including high accuracy, disable battery optimized, but same problem, slow GPS lock & loss GPS signal when driving, guess what ? I took out the sim card & insert to a Samsung phone, GPS lock within 5 seconds & never had GPS signal loss, clearly the problem are with MiA1, not Telco or GPS signal.
