Mi a2 has no 3.5mm phone jack and has no microsd slot. And also has no FM radio like the realme 2 pro has. Regarding of software the mi a2 has a better software because of Android One which is the most updated in terms of security updates. Both has the same SDM660 processor. Mi a2 has Type C connector while realme 2 pro still using the micro USB connector. Overall performance I still go with Mi a2 because of its highly secured software, good design made of aluminum compared to realme 2 pro made only of polycarbonate plastic and its camera performance both image and video quality.

It is normal of course on its camera. In the camera settings just open the low light options always to avoid shadows in the background even when you are using the primary lens.

Hi I have problem with my camera on Xiaomi MI A2, focusing when I want take a photo after pie updated. The only way I can take photo with no blur is in manual mode low light. Have a great day

Looking for feedback on updates. Are updated from Google on time? Also, are there updates to fix minor niggles from Xiaomi/Google?

The Mi A2 are coping well in this April pie update. When I'm done in my mi a2 I didn't experienced any issues like WiFi and data connectivity, hotspot both band working well. Camera has been enhanced. 4k and slow motion video quality seems work well. But the groupie selfie removed and good integration with google lens. Adaptive battery also has been enhanced. File storage seems very accurate. Audio quality and speaker loudness also improved. GPS works well without problem. Quick battery charging also improved. I hope in the next security update have much more improvement in this phone. But this latest update was much more impressive to me.

Hello, my Mi A2 seems to have a strange effect when focusing on the primary lens. I would just like to know if this is normal or not. It seems when on Manual Mode the low light lens the focus is even across the image but the primary lens it seems to wash from one side to the other.

Prabhakar Pandey, 19 Apr 2019Group selfie is missing in camera after April update and ... moreI had my April pie update and I haven't facing any problem. All is working such as WiFi and hotspot connectivity were working fine both bands are working in front camera the group selfie has been removed. File manager and storage system works well and accurate. Slow motion video were also excellent and great. Data connectivity and GPS also works great. Audio in loudspeaker improves to much. The adaptive battery in April pie update improved much more but it affects the downloading of apps in google play store if you turn it on. My advice is to turn it on while you downloading apps on google play. The google lens had been added on camera features as well. This is my experience in my mia2 April pie update. In the battery charging I had no experience about heating. It works all fine as well. While I charging I off the device and it takes only less than one and a half hour until fully charge.

I have Mi A2 for about 140 USD from Tokopedia. I have been using it for a month. And i can say it's worth for money, my device doesn't have a problem, battery life is good even it's only 3000mAh, gaming and multitasking is good for it's price, cameras are good too. I'm currently on Havoc OS 2.4 because i don't like Android One. For the ROM itself, good. No noticeable problem.

Anonymous, 05 Apr 2019i cant find how to stop auto updating the OSI discovered something.If u're registering the fingerprints and u register 2 fingers in the same fingerprint registration process it actually makes it possibly to unlock the phone with both fingers even though they were originally registerd in the same fingerprint procces.Hope u get it :o

Hi guys,i got mi a2 and the charge stoped working,yesterday phone was 2% it worked fine until its fully drained and charging just not works,tried many different chargers and wires,bowerbank not charging at all,anyone of you guys had same issuess?

AliG, 06 Apr 2019hello ,which one is better Xiaomi Mi A2 4/64 or Xiaomi Mi 8... moreIf you prefer a sleak aluminium unibody design with 18:9 aspect ratio, Android One with unlockable bootloader out of the box and don't mind giving up battery capacity, sd-card expansion and headphone jack for it, it is a no-brainer that the A2 is better. Otherwise the Mi 8 lite is the one to go for.
