Laggy system (emmc bug) causes hanging even keyboard app and you should wait till system process/write your buffered keys. I have moved iphone after mi a2, this can be its best feature.

Had it for well over a year now and it's been good to me. The only flaw I could mention is that the fingerprint reader stops responding every now and then. Other than that I'm quite happy I dared to buy something other than the common brands I've always stuck with.
(I have not yet updated to android 10, as I've heard people complaining about bugs with that)

I've owned the Mi A2 for about a year and a half. Updated from Android 8 to 9 as soon as it was first turned on and kept it that way until three months ago, been on Android 10 since. Had no noticeable issues yet.
I use it for basic needs - instant messaging, e-mail mostly, with the occasional PSP emulator. Charging is fast, battery life is enough for a whole day. Camera is good enough for the price range. Fingerprint reader is fast and accurate about 80-90% of the time.
All in all I like the device, don't regret buying it and intend to keep it for 2-3 more years. Just keep in mind its product tier and you should be well off with it.

I've had my A2 for a year and a half. Sometimes the mic doesn't work and people can't hear me. This started to happen after the Android 10 update. This seems to happen to other people.
Also, I can't find a way to use the front LED when using Whatsapp or Viber. I would very much like to use it. Anyone found a way how?

kanna, 03 Apr 2020Is the 64gb version enough for daily usage ? And how about ... moreyes it is enough.. but not if you take photoes and videos frequently.. anyhow you can upload them in a cloud storage with much safety. The device is fast and smooth with no complain.

Good thing for getting android 10 update yesterday. Give it some time and reboot or better to factory reset it will run stable. Things that I notice after the update is WiFi frequently disconnected is fixed and battery now definitely last longer. However notice the charging time slower but that okay consider the major issues fixed.
