How is the Kirin 710 much faster than Snapdragon 660? Do you have benchmark results or real world tests to prove that statement?
I agree with you about the headphone jack and SD card expansion, but the Nova 3i has a notch, micro USB, no ac or 5GHz WiFi, and no IR blaster. These are some very glaring faults the Mi A2 doesn't have.

I remember using S6 edge, which had 2600 mah battery with short battery backup, but the FAST CHARGER & WIRELESS CHARGER were at rescue.
PLEASE NOTE: S6 edge is an example here, not comparison. Mi A2 just cannot even touch S6 edge in comparison.

Nova 3i camera is inferior to as that of Mi A2, larger megapixels doesn't always mean better quality. On both front & rear cameras, check the apertures, flash types and video recording capabilities.
11% bigger battery of Nova 3i gives the same backup as that of Mi A2, because Mi A2 setup has a powerful GPU with FHD+ screen resolution.
Don't confuse Kirin710 with SDM710.
SDM660 has KRYO custom CPU cores, not raw a73 & a53. It has a more powerful GPU, Bluetooth v5, Wi-Fi bands ac & a.

The GSMArena battery result is in for this phone. As expected, its pretty poor at 73h endurance rating. Web browsing time is particularly poor.
