Maby you need to free up some storage? Some apps takes more of the RAM to.

It's been 3 year using this phone, it was all good upto Android 9, after Android 10 update RAM optimization was crap, it was unable to handle multi-tasking and charging rapidly was gone so I flashed Android 9 stock firmware, besides old security patch everything else is fine in Android 9. I know android 10 has some good animations, privacy features and dark mode but it's not worth giving up performance for those tiny features.

i bought this phone .....i has no problem with this phone....upgrade to android 10....it has been 3 years....and i am using this phone....battery is good ....no other problem at all....good condition etc...no battery complient. it is a good phone over all is good.....

Can't handle two apps at a time, ram optimization is at peak worse after the latest android update. sh*t phone now.

After reading some of comments i thought that i was using different phone.
My experience with this phone - worst phone that i ever used.
Ram optimization - cant handle 2 apps in background (4gb ram version)
After firmware update got black bars on a bottom of a screen, on white background you can really see them.
Microphone recording sometimes just doesent work, in storries or other recordings.
Support just answered some messages. Then started ignoring.
After the news that Xiaomi is stopping Mi A phone production It was all clear. That Xiaomi devs dont want to work with this pease of crap.
Overall rating 2/10
Was pretty good battery life and good screen.
Advice. Buy mainstream phones, because they gonna get firmware updates and bug fixes.

Bought around two years ago. For the price, it worked great: lightning quick with plenty of RAM, loved Android One and customization options. Both cameras were impressive with unique features that even iPhone-user friends of mine at the time found amazing. Fairly quickly though it began to show issues, primarily with the camera focusing properly: it soon rendered the Portrait mode almost useless on the back camera. I've seen various forums on how these things can have faulty cameras but only recently (after the latest Android updates) the back camera finally gave up and can't properly focus on anything further than a foot away, rendering it useless. It can also re-start programs that are running in the background when you swap to another, which was just something I got used to. Also did notice some response issues here and there; never went over half of it's capacity for storage nor was I running any games or heavy-RAM usage programs. I feel as if it's just not able to keep up with the latest updates until Xiaomi deals with more bugs but at this point, this is already a fairly obsolete phone. Really a shame because I even found the IR Blaster to be helpful for turning on old CRT monitors with missing remotes.
