Borshon, 01 Mar 2020Xiaomi Mi A3 got Android 10 update...its full fresh got no ... moreThere are bugs if u go to the xiaomi page and check the bugs under the device mi a3 all are listed and ive come across like half of those bugs. The fingerprint bug was the first to notice.

Xiaomi Mi A3 got Android 10 update...its full fresh got no bugs,no problems,just lag some times that a very little, Camera performance increased by 30%...THANKYOU XIAOMI

android 10 came but with some bugs like the font and icons seems to be different in some places. there is a fingerprint bug (after locking and keeping for a while u cant unlock the phone without pressing the power button). gesture navigation is there. the phone seemed to be more sensitive and there are claims saying the phone charges quickly but haven't yet experienced personally.

.. Also, lacking of "High Brightness Mode", because it runs stock software, Xiaomi claiming, and because of that max brightness of this phone is just 363 nits (to dim, like many users says, on sunny days). So, simple question, how is possible for other phones from androidONE, like Nokias, or Motorolas, to have brighter screens, some of them up to 600+ nits? With same software (and, Xiaomi says, high brightness mode is disabled in stock version od Android 9, and that's a reason for low brightness (dim) in Mi A3. They can't enable that or what?

AA, 28 Feb 2020Aside from the slow fingerprint scanner, another that bugs ... moreYep, known bug from Xiaomi phones (not only with stock software), so.. Even if you turn off adaptive brightness, the slider will go left - right, because it seems Xiaomi using front cam as well, as light sensor. Try it, turn off auto brightness (adaptive), and try turn on front of the phone, front camera in the sun, you will see, difference in brightness, and adjustment, like you have turn on automatic brightness.. I hear, some Samsung phones from the past had similar brightness mode, via front cameras.

I bought this phone. I had doubts about the screen resolution because of the comments that I read. But according to short usage, it is not an issue at all. It has a very capable lens and I got satisfying photos using Gcam. And the battery performance is really amazing.

Aside from the slow fingerprint scanner, another that bugs me about this phone is the auto brightness. It's too dim and you have to manually adjust most of the time. Other than that, phone is ok for me.

Well, it's another disappointing update from Xiaomi. Only Feb security patch update with no Android 10. Shame on Xiaomi team who launched this device with tagline: "Will be first phone to receive Android 10."
In spite of accepting their own fault in delaying much anticipated Android 10 update, they are preventing themselves by saying update is delayed to Corona Virus outbreak in China.

bought mi a3 , happy for other features except one, it does not have feature which enables auto call answering while connected to bluetooth. all other features gets a thumb down with only one important feature lacking

In most cases it happens when ur sim keeps on switching between 3g and 4g to get optimum signals. But in the process sim loses signal for a negligibly short instance. Try to set signals to 3g only. Hope it will resolve problem in case 4g signals are poor in your area.

I have a Mi A3 and it’s pretty good, it’s just that the standby battery life is a bit short for me.

Anonymous, 20 Feb 2020Just Advice Me In Between Mi A3 Or M30s .Non-Laggy In Futur... moreMi A3 without second thoughts. You shouldn't think about battery. 'Cause you can replace a biggeer battery & you will have to do after three or four years. For performance, Mi A3 is the champ. But if YouTube streaming is your primary concern, buy M30s.
