Check the version u have installed there are bugs with the gcam app since its not really made for the mi a3. The latest app has a problem with the wide angle camera but others are just fine.

Because it is AMOLED has very nice angles and very strong colors and real blacks, seems i am looking at a painting.
My use is net navigation, web search, tutorials mostly video.
