        Nice phone, except that auto brightness reduces brightness too much. Smooth in hands, android one experience is great. No problem whatsoever with low resolution of display and no problem in bright daylight

          1. Their customer support team promised this update about to get in October, there are many screen shots on this in mi website.

          2. Last year pie update received to mi a2 and mi a1 in December middle time.

          3. when they say first one to get update, people mix up the promise with above 2 points and asking for immediate update : )

            I am intending to buy Mi A3 , but I am not sure if I could RESIZE apps in split screen by dragging the divider OR NOT? I know it has split screen , BUT can can be resized ? Stupid youtubers only showed it had split screen but none of them tried to resized it , if it can't , that'd be a real trade off for me !
            please only real users of Mi A3 answer me ! and thank you

For example, Nokia 6.1 is even pricier than this phone and yet, it doesn't have Android 10 yet. Nokia only has Android One OS to focus their resources with and yet, most of their much pricier phones isn't even in Android 10, only their flagships has that. Check Xiaomi's website, does it say regarding Android 10 update? NONE. Most of the cheap Android One devices only says the first one to receive updates (not even this one and also no mention of Android 10), security update that is, it's still an update too you know.

                            Want fast MAJOR upgrade? Buy a flagship Android One device (price-wise), or Pixel even.

                              SlyBand, 25 Nov 2019I'm using Mi A3 for a month now... so far no problems for m... moreDid you use a PC in comparing the images? AMOLED tends to have punchy colors than IPS so comparing image quality on both devices using their own display is on a good method at all.

                                the fingerprint reader shortcomings i wouldnt have cared about. but i cant stand displays that have bad sunlight legibility, makes it useless so often.

                                makes me not buy this one.

                                topping it off with the too bright in dark instances whoch i can imagine is als9 not nice, lots of time.
