I had received my phone on 8th August 2016 In India. It has wifi Issue. Customer care said that its software bug. But I have read many articles regarding this issue and came to know people has tried different MIUI version on the phone and problem still exists. Also customer care said that we have to wait for around 10 days to solve the issue.

Everything is good in mi max phone except picture quality..after using the phone i m not happy with picture quality

I had received my phone on 5th August 2016 In India. It has wifi Issue. Customer care said that its software bug. But I have read many articles regarding this issue and came to know people has tried different MIUI version on the phone and problem still exists. Some people had tried Cynogenmod ROM on it still no luck. So it is now 95% confirm that its a hardware issue. MI India has approximately sold around 70000 phone through MI.com / Flipkart and Amazon in the 2nd lot in the month of Aug-2016 who has same problem. Also if contacted MI customer care and service centre they are not ready to give replacement or refund against the product and telling customers to wait for 10 days. Also as per MI India replacement policy we get refund only if applied in 10 days. So MI has cheated 70000 Indian people and we have no option to wait for MI decision.

Mi Max has wi-fi issue. Do not buy this phone. Do not buy any mi phone as it access your personal stuff like photos, files, audio, video and sell it to other companies. Your privacy could be lost.

I have a suggestion about wifi issue. I guess it is related to android. Few years ago, wifi didn't connect in Iran because of android, and users was forced to change their place by some softs. I hope this problem don't relate to hardware and solve soon.

Waiting for the issue resolved by some update/fix. Otherwise I will go for refund option.

They have sent a defective Mi Max phone, which is having major issue with wifi and they are not agreeing to replace or refund even though its a out-of-box defective piece. This is not only my problem. They are even blocking the numbers from which we call to their customer care.

Was waiting since july 27th. Yet not available, Also the grey colour variant is'nt available anywhere. So gave up on xiaomi, buyied Asus zenfone today.
