I have been using mi max for 3 days. I had trouble with display sensor. a certain point of display doesn't respond my touch, as I go on touching phone confuses, freezes. every time I have to restart phone. additionally when I call someone on the phone I can not hear his voice clearly ear speaker doesn't work properly. what can I do with this device now, can anyone have suggestion?#

I have the phone, works great. Has a solid construction, no lags with 4GB and running MIUI 8 global version. The phone supports micro SD, comes with Marshmallow and they released an OTA update recently, security patch December 1 for now. This device you can get it for $303 with shipping included on AliExpress... New with the latest MIUI loaded and Google Play working perfectly.

I just switched from iPhone 7 plus and Note 5 to this and it's amazing. Better than both my previous phones.
MiMax feels very premium, MIUI is smooth and friendly.
The loudspeaker's volume is not very high but I can live with it.
Also, the size isn't that hard to get used to it, but sure, you can't use the phone much with only one hand.
9/10, better than iPhone 7P and Note 5.
I hope MiMax 2 will be just as awesome.

I noticed that some are complaining about the last update of MI max on GSMarena,
I updated my phone to MIUI 8.1.6.0 and here is my experience:
- update size is 1.3 GB
-Update process did not take time, only download process (which is internet speed dependent)
- All phone functions are OK, did not notice any unusual thing in the sofware, WIFI, BT, and downloaded games and app
I RECOMMEND IT

it's the best affordable smart phone with great feature such as speaker and infrared function which can be used when your remote control was out of batteries. Strongly recommend to buy it!
