hello guys, please help me, i want your opinion about Xiaomi Mi Max. For those user that been using this phone for awhile what is your experience with this phone? Do you have issues? Does the issues with the wifi and not working speakers fixed on recent updates? I really want to buy this phone and i want to hear from people using this device. Is it worth buying? i want to go with the 128gb or 64gb variant.

The recent update is awesome! Not even 1gb ram is utilized normally by os! Lag free! Big in size! Awesome! Kudos xiomi!

i've downloaded the Helium Version of MIUI8 for Mi Max 128GB but if tried to install and select the package, it shows getting info and after few mins the error reported as couldn't verify the package. How to make it work for 8.0 version and mine is 7.4build.

I had rwdmi note 3....best working best display...just for watching movies on mobile i bought new mi max and sold redmi note 3....that was a mistake.....display gives negative effect from corner view from boath sides ..(bottom left) and (top right)...waste of money....(for me)

worst phone.
I bought on 6th Oct and from very next day auto reboot issue. Has to move out of Bangalore so struggled for few days . Came back ... went to service center. said 2 days for diagnostics and observation. After 2 days, received call . Motherboard has some issue . It has to be replaced. No Stock will take one month. I asked for replacement . They said no as on 10th day i reported the issue, I should have bring in one week after buying offline for replacement ( 10 days for online )..

Reason for investment:
Excellent price for a mid-range high-spec phablet. The large screen estate, ample battery life, 4 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage, as well as a rapid enough CPU.
First impressions:
Very good screen, good battery life and very responsive. Some minor issues regarding Chinese menus and getting some apps to work well with MIUI 8. Most issues resolved and I'm happy with both the phablet and MIUI 8.
Second day of use:
Loving the phablet even more know as most issues have been resolved and I have installed all the apps I need/want. Some apps not compatible with this phone (why I don't know), though no major loss at the moment.
Sound quality when taking calls is superb, even when on speaker. For media though the single speaker is not as good as I'd want it, though good enough for the times I've no choice (streaming to media devices and using headphones most of the time).
Very fluid GUI and rapid responses from both apps and games. A tad annoyed at all the fiddling around with the permissions to get everything working as required. Though I believe Xiaomi provide frequent updates to alleviate issues over time (unlike some of the other, larger vendors).
I'm looking forward to working extensively with this phone in future.
P.S. The camera beautify mode thinks I'm 48 and female, despite my beard and otherwise youthful appearance. :-)
