As the phone has 4gb RAM does the battery gets heat up soon? Will appreciate for their valuable feedback on this. Thank you in advance.

THE PHONE OF PHONES
Friends, Recently I bought this phone here in India and this is one of the best phones available in the market at this price. How can it be compared with a phone priced at 500 or 600 dollars? users complain this phone has no brightness, lack memory and so on... It has everything one needs. I have had a samsung note 4 for 2 years and I find it slower than mi max while scrolling through contacts list , response camera etc. I bought mi max only because of its large display and huge battery. I spent 800 dollars on note 4 and with an average battery of 3220 mAh. after two years its battery is causing trouble to me. Although Note 4 is better in many respects such as camera, or may be display but overall it is not as snappy as mi max. Note 4 lags but mi max doesn'nt
overall, I am pleased with my purchase. Samsung, Sony, HTC, Asus, phones are highly overpriced. If it were not so, How is it possible to bring down the price of a phone to half of its launch price withing a period of 6 months or so. I bought the note 4 for $ 800 two years ago now it is available for $ 400 after two years with same specs it means it has a lot of profit margin. If one wants to go for this, just proceed. one can't expect features of 800 dollars for 250 dollars. Be practical. its my personal opinions and not directed towards anyone. Thanks

Hanging problem and when I use net after few minutes Data can't work then reboot the phone than data works I tired from this plz tel me solution what I do

I bought 2 mi max phones few weeks ago all good with these phone except wifi, one has MIUI V7.5 global other has been updated to MIUI V8.0.1.0 global. When Wifi is in use on any of the two phones it takes up all my bandwidth cutting out nearly everything else including tv , I have set the wifi frequency band to 2.5 from 5 and still the same, appreciate if anyone has some help with this

I agree camera and screen maybe not that good, but it is not far off, not until I hate to use it, or feel downgraded. I actually feel it's camera and screen are perfectly usable at this price range.
The so called dim movie not clear is just because the screen is not as bright as Nexus 5, it is of personal preference, some scene need to be in dim, too bright kills real movie presentation, it got nothing to do with the pixel density.
My earphone jack is not lose, used with Xiaomi Piston 3 earphone. Bluetooth never auto disconnect with my smart watch and bluetooth speaker, unless the distance is too far. WiFi and call quality never have issue. If issue happen, it is of the WiFi router or the telco problem, experience the same with other phone.
If you really want something that really can replace Nexus 5, do check out Xiaomi Mi5.

I think this is one of the best value 6 inch phone from MI. The front and back camera is good and clear. The dual SIM is excellent. One SIM and the other 128Gb External SD Suppprt. Updated to MUI 8. Plse don't compare to iphone7 or Samsung note S7..... for they are totally over priced!!!!

Customer service really depend on region.
Xiaomi phone are ok, but local service by local people with local mindset really bad.

I m looking for MI MAX, But its hard for me to find out WIFI connectivity, its good or bad. In addition to that what about the camera quality, is it impressive, specially the selfie one.

Certainly it won't better than SD820 offering, but it is well worth that price. Has been heavily used for 2 months and it is the big screen beast. Camera actually above average. Only for those who appreciate it's big screen and value for money.

I bought 4 phones in total from Mi in my family, one was Redmi 2S prime, which is working fine and other 3 being MI4i 32 Gb. MI4i are pathetic phones in terms of battery and functioning, i have updated its software but nothing improved. in one of the phone some screen issue was there, i went to the service centre and they told me that i hv to deposit my phone for more than a month. the service response is very bad. i decided not to go for change of my screen since i didnt take the backup at that time. Later after taking bkup i again went to them and this time they rejected to submit the phone within waranty. Overall poorest Customer service.

Phone are good at 15k at else u want
Ppl talk abt camera wt u want in 15k just buy digital camera if u want .m.......
Its up to bu ur luck that get ryt unit because some unit are damaged .....o otherwise redmi blessed us with mi max better than redmi note 3.... I use gionee to ntng compare to mi

The display is not good, not clear when playing movies that are dim, for example cave or underground scenes. As my Nexus-5(1080x1920, 445-PPI, 5inch) was able to display the same movie better n adequately, I suspect the 1080x1920 342-PPI is not sufficient for the 6.44 display. But for viewing GPS map, reading, it is gd.
I watched the dim movie at full brightness(still not clear), for abt 1-hr, n still don't have heating issue.
The One-Handed mode worked on MIUI-7, but not on MIUI-8.
Speaker quite OK, but I use the Speaker Boost app when I need it louder.
I feel camera is quite bad, especially when my previous Nexus5 with OIS is quite gd.
Even if 3GB RAM, almost 2GB is always occupied.
Charging with in-box 2mah charger is quite fast, abt 1% every 3min.
Batt stamina is super lasting. I can last 3day, n still left 30%++. However, I only use for abt 4-hr web browsing, a few calls, abt 2hrs YouTube n movies, every day.
WIFI is still sometimes unstable, even aft the update. However, it seems to work better with my newer cylinder-design D-Link WiFi modem, as compared to my older D-Link rectangle kind.
Bluetooth connection also seems unstable. My Remax n Baseous sets, both work well with Nexus5, but will disconnect aft some time with Mi Max
For calls made at basement-2, Mi Max with SingTel old but 4G SIM CD, did not connect well. Sometime cannot hear other, sometimes the other cannot hear me.But my M1 newer 4G SIM CD worked well.
3.5mm phone jack is quite loose. In fact I feel it is very loose.
XiaoMi website don't sell screen protector. N I no time to check stores. 3rd party ones, don't fit the sides as screen is slipping on left n right.
