sandy, 03 Sep 2016Xiaomi Max 4GB RAM its just awesome.Had my Mix Max 4gb/128gb/SD652 a few weeks and have got used to the size. Anything over 5.1 inches needs two hands so, for me, once you go 5.5-5.7 it handles the same as those.
Performance and daily usage is great. I've had the Mi5 and there's no day-to-day performance difference. The battery lasts forever - easily a two-day phone for me with dual SIMs in. Great FP scanner on the back and double tap to wake compliment each other well (no need to pick it up of a desk or fiddle when in a car mount). All in a metal build with a sweet IPS display.
If you consume media a lot, and read a lot, this is a great phone. Real Racing 3 runs smooth. The camera is OK, but not great. The price/value, however, is nothing short of excellent. Cost me $290 and nothing else comes close.
I've unlocked the bootloader, rooted, TWRPd, and put on a xisomi.eu MIUI 8 ROM with the leaked Nexus launcher @ 340 lcd density (stock 440 is way too big). Looks much better and runs buttery smooth. I'm surprised how quick MIUI is considering it's a heavy skin.

But if you have big hands and don't mind others looking at you a bit strangely this is the perfect phablet.

Guys, don't think that this is big and kind of useless. Try to think that how you would feel watching movies on this humongous screen . And space is actually big , you can add up a memory card of 256GB .

I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS IN MY MIND.... CAN ANYBODY TELL....
1..----While the camera delivers some decent shots in proper lighting conditions or when you are outdoors, it is not as impressive in low-light. Also some pictures appeared a little burnt, especially those taken out in the bright sun.....
2....----I faced an issue running some apps, especially smartphone benchmark testing apps. The app said required permissions were not granted, MIUI 8’s Permission manager indicated it, and the confusing set-up meant I still can’t figure out how to run the app. I’ve already noted in my Mi 5 review, Xiaomi needs to sort how Permissions are dealt with on Android 6, because clearly this current set-up is too confusing for users....
3..---I feel the audio could have been more powerful on this device, given entertainment will be a primary use case for this one.

This phone is so compact for a 6.4" that it doesn't feel much different than a "normal" 5.5" one. Plus it is light and thin and fits nicely in your palm. Oh and once you get used to the 6.4 you cannot go back. This is the best Chinese phone I've had to day and quality is all over it.

and the phone very very easily to get hot...
maybe the most hotter processor snapdragon from xiaomi..
its a horrible experience and now im paranoid to.buy another xiaomi phone...
