Miui 10.2.1 available for mi max 2. Udpated security patch of january 2019 but still based on nougat. Nice update but they should have atleast provided it with oreo.

W... moreIf you concern about camera, go for mimax 3. Else, just buy mimax 2. Btw, mimax 2 got a better battery life than mimax 3. Good luck to you mate.

Battery life is getting worse. miui8 on mi max 2 was absolutely better for battery life. I got 10 hours screen on time by playing rules of survival, when i play on miui9, i get around 4 hours by playing. And miui9 has some bugs. If you are in miui 8, i dont recommend to update to miui 9...

After using max2,u can't use other phone again.Because the big screen n good sound would be ur first choice if ur guys used as a small entertainment device.Trust me,go for it.

See if the Pulse notification light option is on (slide to blue).
