I have the mi max 2 . the miui 9 update came and i instaled it not knowing what is about to happen.... And then all of a sudden , the option to hold the back button to trigger recent apps is gone. I can barelly use it one handed now because i cannot reach the recent button with my thumb , the phone is absolutelly big, how can i reach it with my thumb.?! I used to hold the back button to trigger that, and now it is gonne..... Great... I wonder who came up with that stupid idea of removi an EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FEATURE. A feature that makes one handed usability possible. Now it usable as a tablet not a phone anymore. I paid for my phone , shoulden't i get at least told that the feature will not exist anymore before updating to that supid crippled miui 9?!?!
I am so pissed off.....
And when i emailed them they simply told me that it doesn' exist anymore...... Like it is not important in a very big phone.... Can you imagine..... Like who cares, you dont have that anymore... Love- xiaomi
Totally irresponsable. I did soend my money on their phone to be used only as a tablet (two handed)

I'm using huawei mate 10 lite..which is ok in every thing except charging..it take 3 to 4 hours 0 to 100.I want to move on Mi Max 2..any buddy have suggestion about this phone.I should switch on this phone stay with huawei..mate 10 lite.I m not crazy about mobile games.i need performance and good battery,display & features..

For this matter it is better than any iPhone X or S8 could be. ;)

I would say, it is pretty useless comment IF YOU NOT SPECIFY what type of game you are playing. There are such crazy demanding games that ALL phones lags substantially at max setting and there are also so badly programmed games that are choppy even on highest rated GPUs. Well, and most of the games just fine even on entry level chipsets. So it depends. It is also important what you are running in background. Some people have 20+ apps actively are doing something in background and they are wounder why even home screen lags ;-) This phone (phablet) is OK for most of the uses, but definitely NOT an ultimate gaming device.

I used to own a device with similar specs like the Adreno 506 and all I can say if are into hard 3D maxed out gaming, you are gonna have a hard time, because such device doesn't do very well at this aspect. If you want to upgrade and have ssome money, you can go buy something with at least Adreno 520,530 or Snapdragon 4x core and you'll notice the huge difference between entry-level and high-end phones.If you don't have much money, you can go for a Samsung Galaxy S6, or S7.They are almost the best in every game and you can play in ultra settings and don't cost a fortune.Also, they are very stable and don't lag almost never.
