Guys today I compared my mi max 2 display to that of Xperia Z1 (which has the worst display ever imho).Guess what movie look better on Xperia Z1. Believe me the display BAD if you wanna watch movies. The blacks look totally grey and u can't see a thing during dark scenes.Its good only for games and anime.

Adnan, 24 Jul 2017I Think theres little different between mi max and mi max 2... moreGo for Mi Max 2, great battery life, very useful as daily driver. Performance is good as mid-range device. Huge screen is a advantage especially for gamer. I use Mi Max 2 for 2 weeks and it brilliant!

I Think theres little different between mi max and mi max 2, and im very confused to buy mi max 2 or mi5 pro, mi5 pro's cpu and gpu is higher than mi max 2 but mi max 2's battery is longer than mi5 pro, for experiece gaming mi5 pro is good but the battery its so weak for me, mi max 2 give me an advantage for gaming as long as possible, so guys please give some advice

Got the device from MI store india yesterday. Although the contrast is better than redmi note 4, the viewing angles are pretty bad. Not good for watching movies,though anime looks good.
The pseudo-stereo speakers are crap (the earpiece speaker becomes coarse around 50% volume levels).
The devices becomes laggy a bit too often. Moreover, it gets hot while playing games and charging (may be due to 15W quick charging ?) and playing games which is not the case with redmi note 4.
Saw many youtube reviewers praising it and went for it, but now i feel i would have better been off with a sony XAultra or samsung c9pro.

there are also reports that say it has *no* NFC which doesn't tally with the entry here!
