Xiaomi Mi Max 3 – 7 year old phone, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal memory. 5500mAh battery… I bought it in 2018 from Aliexpress for 225 euros, in Bulgaria it costs 300… I have had the display replaced three times. From Aliexpress it costs 25 euros. Like new, the battery lasts 3 days – with about 4 hours of talk time and 8 hours of screen of time. In the forums they wrote about 10-11 and more hours of SOT, I haven't achieved it..., I only play white... With the original battery and all the stock software at the moment. At the moment it is at 75% battery health and lasts from morning until bedtime. It lasts about an hour of talk time and 4 hours of SOT. Before that I only had Samsung S2+, S3, S4 and Note 3…..I think there is no room for comparison, I can’t ask for more than that from such a Chinese phone, which did a great job for me. It seems to work as if it just came out of the box… For 7 years I have been charging it all night and in the morning I turn it off from the charger…. That nonsense about charging to 80% and draining to 30%...they'll all write it in the forums...I want Xiaomi to continue the MAX series! That's it!

Same here. I am from India and since it wasn't released here, had it imported from the UAE in 2018 and been using it for the past 7 years. I love this phone and very satisfied with it. Have never even considered another phone. I am not a gamer but I do stream a lot of Netflix and YouTube, browse the web a lot with the odd normal and WhatsApp calls and still get close to 9 hours of SOT with the 7 year old 5500mAh battery. I have already purchased and kept in store and original Mi replacement battery for the inevitable drop in battery backup tomorrow, if not today. The device is glass and metal and has a huge screen and a pretty decent rear camera. I am running MIUI 12 Global based on Android 10 and faced absolutely no issues. The theming and customization options are insane. My sister has a Oneplus 13 based on Oxygen OS 15 and flux themes are a joke compared to the themes on my old Mi Max 3.

I bought my mi max 3 in April 2019, after 6 yrs I'm still using it and everything working fine.
How on earth Xiaomi did not see they are loosing by the discontinuation of max series?
I bought some other phones which i ended up selling out cos they didn't meet up with my specifications.

It is not pocket friendly and not hand friendly for small hand. Other brand such as Huawei also stop producing this kind of phablet, even 7 inch Android tablet is dying, normally for now you get at least 10 inch Android tablet with good specs (left maybe iPad Mini). For now, best gaming smartphone is Samsung S25 Ultra?

2018 to now 2025. Still using MI MAX 3. 6GB RAM VARIANT 128 INTERNAL Still not replaced by other cellphones. Sharp photo detail results with a 5 mega pixel sensor.
And the good video results without shaking or broken movements make it more life-like.
MI MAX 3 is still the best..👍

Still using this phone to this day, running Android 15 with the Evolution X ROM. I've already replaced the battery—such a great phone!
