I never got the Mi Max 3 in my region, so the first Mi Max is still the last I had. Second gen. wasn't worth the upgrade.

I still come to this page, from time to time, to read the comments and see that there is a lot of people who share my love for the Max series. Too bad Xiaomi canceled it :(

Bought this in August 2018, still using Mi Max 3 to this day. Absolute beast of a phone (and I'm using the 4GB RAM version!), I think THE best in its price- and weight-class. Huge battery & screen, no notch, headphone jack, IR blaster, microSD... Only thing I wished it had is NFC reader. The only better overall phone I can think of is Huawei Mate 20X. My phone is reaching its limit as it has started to lag when opening up the keyboard & using multiple apps, but overall still a very usable device. When it's time for a replacement I'll be really sad to see it go.

Please Xiaomi should bring back max series to enable us the fans of large screen smartphones have a sense of belonging.

xiaomi stopped this phone on purpose, because many people bought it and stopped buying their other mobiles. because it was all around the best in the market .

First samsung killed the mega 6.3 and then xiaomi killed max 3 . The sales must be very bad to kill the best phones ever made on the planet . And we also had that legendry asus ultra . Sad the fold screens rule today

No thanks-don't know why folks are so keen on eliminating even the smallest of bezels when they serve a useful purpose such as keeping that ugly punch hole away from the screen and out from where it does not belong. The bezel also housed a notification led. Improved processor and mostly a wider array of network bands would have done it. This is gone and never to return due to the onslaught of 75mm or less wide skinny phones and people all obsessed with selfies.

Or try a different repair guy.

Last week, most of the Apps on my phone kept closing after I touched on it. I then switched off the phone and on again. The phone remains on boot loop mode till today. I brought it to the repair shop and was told that it us a software issue. If reconfigure, all data would be lost. Is there any way to salvage the data? I didn't back up the data. I'm still looking for a solution.
